The thing is though Lynds, a little like Oasis I personally don't dislike the man because he is a bluenose, a Manc or whatever. Even the widely accepted fact that he is a kunt doesn't mean I would dismiss him out of hand, I've known and worked with many in my time.

Unfortunately though, like Oasis he is an idiot when it comes to football. Ultimately on a football forum, it is this incessant cluelessness which trips them up int he end. Shame really because he tries his best.

I wish I had a bluenose.

Comet and Cupid

Donner and Blitzen

Prancer and Dancer

Dasher and Vixen.

Those are Santa's reindeer.

Personally I think this "Rudolph" is an imposter.

Well... i don't like this striker, i think that there are a lot of better players than him and i prefer a new incorporation besides i think that he is a player of a team littler such as everton or maybe aston villa, he has not enough level for Liverpool

I think that Gudjonsen, who is playing at Barcelona right now could be a good option, and maybe Roberto Soldado he is a young and fantastic striker, all Spain wants him these Christmas because he doesn't have minutes at Real MAdrid.:)

Well I was about to ask you some of the names of better strikers you know that improves what Crouch provides. I don't think Gudjohnsen is good enough for LFC, nor that he fits the creative second striker profile demanded by a bunch of posters.

I'm quite reluctant to offload Crouch to be honest, unless it is a must.

I always thought that just in a different way as Zigic does for instance in Spain, he provides very interesting things to the team and there are not many strikers that can do this kind of job, the kind of work Kovacevic used to do back in Spain if you see what I mean.

Voronin is a buy that hasn't convinced me. I'd rather offload him than Crouch. There are lots of players that could improve his game.

But at the end, the problem is money. Liverpool fans are not idiots, they like quality. They'd like a goal scorer, prefferably quite creative, fast enough for top football, and since he comes under Rafa he should be ready to work when we haven't the ball aswell.

The problem with this kind of striker is that it is not very common , and it's ridiculously expensive. You're talking about the likes of Etoo and Villa, not many more fit the profile.

Roberto Soldado? Good striker, probably with better killer instict than Voronin, and possibly a good call. But we're talking of a lower step of quality compared with the above mentioned players. And what people demand is that kind of player.

I am not a real big fan of Crouch, but before anyone even thinks of selling him they should first look at Kuyt and Voronin.  At least Crouch offers something different, those two are very average and they would struggle to get into midtable teams.
