But we are doing WELL in the league this season mate. Question for you - If we were already qualified for the Champs League knock-out stages would you be fairly happy with how the season was panning out? e.g. win our game in hand and we're 2nd in the LEAGUE, still in League Cup, through to knock-out stages in Europe. Now if the answer is YES then can you not see the irony in what you have been saying? everyone who isn't happy with Rafa bashes him for his record in the league and YET they continually use this season's CHAMPIONS LEAGUE record as a STICK to beat him with IGNORING a very solid start to our league campaign.

the americans are clowns, they should stick to what they now best, invading countries for oil.....we should never have been sold to them, they have no culture!
Go home americans we dont want you!

The biggest statement you made there consists of only 2 letters, IF, many people are getting way ahead of themselves.

well tom if LFC will mean nothing to you anymore that shows that you are not puttling LFC first, whatever happens the club should come first and your statement means that you will stop supporting, obviously you think rafa is bigger than LFC because he has won a couple of trophies, give me a break

I don't think thats what he's saying mate. He is making the point that Rafa MAY be sacked for trying to get whats best for Liverpool. IF he his sacked for such reasons LFC and all it has stood/stands for will become as nothing.
Our club will be no different than all the other petty little clubs that bow to the almighty dollar/yen/peso/rouble/pound.
FFS he has hardly made outragous demands, He's not asking for the money to sign Kaka and Ronaldinho. He wants to sign Mascherano who must surely have been discussed at some stage since his arrival, and he's even willing to offset the costs by selling players to pay for any signings.
Are they really hideous ignorant statements? I for one don't want Hicks in particular here. If Rafa is sacked for NON FOOTBALL REASONS then LFC doesn't mean anything anymore - that's not what we are, or what we are about. Remember FC United?
Who would support 'Anfield FC'?
I love Rafa, In Rafa we Trust etc, but that's not what this is about. It's the principle of EVERYTHING that LFC means to me. Everton really will be 'the People's Club' then.

1) provide the needed funds for players 2) keep the club financially healthy and 3) build the new stadium responsibly, then they are fine with me.
