Sure, but doesn't the passion, pride and determination that Rafa is displaying kind of excite you a little?

Not if it's going to get him sacked.

Maybe I am being naive, but I really feel that he is not going to get sacked over this - that would cause more problems than good. I am just happy that Rafa is standing up and saying it how it is, all this "hush hush" :censored: that it seems G&H want to keep is bullsh*t

Deffo. The Microscope will be well and truly zeroed in from now on in.

Ohhhhhhhhh Fuck

http://www.lfconline.com/news/loadnews.asp?cid=TMNW&id=364504

We have heard (from dubious sources) that Rafael Benitez has walked out of Anfield.

The Liverpool boss has been in conflict with club owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks regarding funds for signings during the January transfer window.

It was believed that the matter would be resolved when the parties met to discuss the future plans in December.

But, if the rumours are to be believed, it looks like Benitez has lost patience with the chairmen and decided to walk.

We stress that at the moment there is no confirmation of these events, but expect developments on Monday.

Didnt see or hear that myself, I thought he was level headed with it, alomst apologetic.

It would be better if that passion, pride and determination was shown in a more private meeting with the owners. But we dont know whats really going on. Maybe Rafa feels there is problems communicating directly with G&H and tries to get attention via the media.

It bothers me that G&H isnt coming over to sort this out.

Benitez hasn't walked out. I think that this will be recovered soon, and hopsefully a compromise will be made. I for one, don't want Benitez out of Anfield!

As long ago as last summer, before he left chelsea, Mourino's driver was saying that he was  coming to Liverpool. This has been coming for a long time !

At least Packo will be back !

Rafa to be sacked ?

Before anyone starts moaning about this I am only posting it to see what you think of it. I am NOT saying that this 100% going to happen but when you look at the source ( regardless of who he now writes for ) it doesn't look to good. There are other stories regarding this but Bascombe is not  one to make a story seem more serious than it is regarding Liverpool Football Club just to sell more papers !

Maureen as a replacement ! I despised the guy when he was in charge of Chelsea but and this is a huge but would it be the end of the world IF Rafa went and he was brought in ?

All in all there are far to many stories going around regarding the situation between the Manager and the Owners, and I for one can only see one winner. IF there is a problem it needs to be sorted out, we don't need this sort of distraction as we go into a very important month of football

After all those years of watching Liverpool, I'd have thought you'd have more sense.

I think this thread should be closed until Monday ;)

Just joking, but I do think we all need to hold our tongues until early next week...AT LEAST Monday.

Next thing someone is going to post with sightings of Gillette and Hicks on a plane from Dallas Fort Worth Airport, to JFK Airport in New York connecting to Liverpool!
