Quality, the best performance of the season so far, mixed it when we had to (let annelka and diouf know we were up for it ) and passed them to death at other times, kuyt man of the match for his non stop work all over the pitch and his assists, gonzo and pennant stood up to the task ok if a little over shadowed by riise and finan showing them how to support. great game , great win fat sams pub team down to 4th

That put those jumped up f**kers in their place. Good result, couldn't see where the goals were going to come from but a bit of magic from crouchy changed the game and the floodgates opened. Now shut it sam you fat t**t.

What a performance. 1st half we wer a little flat but 2nd half was possibly the best 45 mins of the season, 3 brilliant goals, 20 shots to 1, total domination. Bolton didn't even turn up and had no attacking intent, they wanted a 0-0 draw, they're never a top 4 side!

I was pleased for Pennant, thought he had a very good game, used the ball well and constantly got in good positions. His crosses were excellent and soem of his link up play with Gerrard and Kuyt especially was outstanding. It looked for the first tiem that that he felt like he belonged at a big club, well done Jermaine lad!

Pennant man of the match...
By far his best game in a red shirt !
Kuyt worked hard in the second half and deserved his goal ...
Crouch was brilliant throughout....great goal but still ...his heading for a man of any height is an embarrassment ... great link up play though !
Gerrard.. apart from his goal was quiet... played deeper and disnt go forward as much as i thought he would... probably down to the fact of us being 1 or 2 nil up at the time and him wanting to control the ame from deep...
Riise and Finnan had a great game..defensively and going forward... Same can be said for X.Alonso !

Still, i think if it wasnt for some poor finishing.. we could have scored at least 2 more goals... poor finishing from crouch but a great display overall !

Pennant was phenomenal in that right flank... spot on crosses and some great through balls !

Expected us to bring in Fowler a lil earlier than we did... expected a double substitution when Gonzales came off.. Rafa was a little late in bringin in Fowler who i thought would have made an impact if was given 20 mins or so to play in a game like this !

Gonzales was absolute and utter Crrap ! No quality whatsoever in that guy ! Apart from the pace that he doesnt seem to know ow to use... he has nothing going for him... might sound a bit too overcritical but he was very very poor in todaays game and stood out as our worst performer by a landslide !

Great clean sheet... great result... hope we can keep playing the way we did today !
