Fair play to Dowd for allowing the advantage.

Good performance against a reasonable team. We're getting a lot of space on the break. Suarez, Gerrard, Sterling, Downing, Henderson, Reina and Johnson have all looked good. Sterling finished well. Some key saves from Pepe. We need to tighten up a bit second half to make sure of the 3 points.

Overall theres been steady progress this season.

That pass from Stevie was a thing of absolute, breath-taking beauty. Wow. I have to say, the last 2-3 matches Gerrard has been playing at a level I never thought I see again. Magic.
