Arsenal are a league above us, they finished 3rd in the league and are in the processing of trying to sign Santi Cazorla for a reported £17m from Malaga.

Liverpool FC: Daniel Agger to warm up for new season behind closed doors

DANIEL AGGER will continue his preparation for the new season by taking part in a warm-up game this weekend.
The Danish international was left out of the Liverpool squad which travelled to Belarus this week because he is not fully fit.

“We have a behind closed doors game for him this weekend to help his match fitness,” said Reds manager Brendan Rodgers.

“Daniel is fit, but we have to make sure his physical condition is up to speed. He wasn’t going to play and if that was the case, I wanted him to use that time to work on his physical condition.”

You may laugh, but it's Arsenal who season in and season out are playing in the Champions League while we're stuck playing Europa League football. Whoever compares us to Arsenal is delusional. While Arsenal might not have won a trophy in over seven years, they're always in top four contention and they're miles ahead of us. If they bring in Sahin and Cazorla then they'll be force to reckoned with this season, especially if they keep hold of Van Persie.

Of course I will laugh when you say funny things
So they qualify every year for the CL. So what? They will never win it
Arsenal had a dream team with the likes of Henry, Bergkamp and Viera but they are loooooooooooooooong gone my friend. They flatter to decieve because they play lovely football with no end product. Toothless tiger comes to mind. Walcott, Oxlaide chamberlain, Wiltshire are all good young players but legends? I think not.
Van Persie blows hot and cold and wants away, so while Arsenal will definitely be in the top six I dont think its nailed on they will get fourth

Also the so called dream team of Arsenal with the players you mentioned - how many European Cups did they win?
