Glen best player that half, it bugs me how many times Raul just gives up on balls or turns away from contact it keeps happening.  Stevie hasn't done much yet, we played some good stuff early on but Torres looks like he isn't up for it or is just tired.

Kuyt and Maxi MIA today ,no support whatsoever from the wings..Surely Cole/Pacheco deserve a chance. Gerrard a bit Rusty and overall team performance not very sharp.

We need width....tonight, and generally.

Our CM looks good, but only our full backs offer anything going forward, and neither Kuyt or Maxi are going to get to the byline and deliver a cross.

Our goal was valid, but they have had good chances and a lot of possession.

We need to keep the ball a bit more.

can we say we miss the energy of lucas?

We most definitely can

Ya I kind of feel that Lucas could be tracking back better. Stevie may be able to get up a bit more and Lucas is a better passer.  Expecting to see Lucas in for Poulson around the 60th minute or so.

First half was decent.  We needed to hold possession at times more.  Fulham had the ball and we would win it back but instantly try to force it up the middle to Torres and it wasn't happening.  Meireles needs to pick it up a bit, just get his touch on a bit and get more in tune with Stevie. You can see Stevie's lack of matches lately in some of his passes but he's not playing bad.  Kelly seems a bit timid when the ball is in the air and isn't the best at timing his jumps when challenging.  Loving his effort though.  That bit when he made a run and tripped and jumped right back up to chase the ball, 99% of players would have just given up.  Torres is making runs but they can't get him the ball, he needs to try some different runs.  Skrtel is ahving some issues but we seem solid enough.

If we can pick i tup a bit and finish our chances I could easily see us picking 2 or 3.

C'mon boys!

Not sure we'll win this hope im wrong though, the team as a whole still looks far better now Kennys here. At times the passing and moving off the ball is excellent, still think are wingers let us down badly.

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
