are you having a laugh? Capello a vastly inferior manager to rafa?

he's talking about Hodgson

Capello would be an excellent choice as manager. He has a good idea of the English League  and has been successful at every club he's been at.

The English players left the entire country.  And to be fair Heskey I thought was one of your better players - its just a pity for you guys that Lampard , Gerrard, Rooney and co couldn't make use of the balls Heskey won.

Capello has my vote ( but I think the FA might be smart and stick with him )

to be honest im suprised but very pleased with the backing for capello apart from a couple. The thing is with roy getting the job are the owners just wanting a nice guy who they know wont give them much grief  alla rafa. But in terms of new investors having capello at the helm would surely interest them more than hodgson. Anyone agree

I think if we could appoint Capello then it would send out a much more positive message and may attract players  players who otherwise don;t fancy playing in the Europa league.

I think a lot of things would want to go our way to even get him. He might be fed up of England after the WC !
Gerrard clearly rates ( judging from his comments )

As the days go on though  Kenny Daglish becomes more and more the only sensible appointment.
I would like Capello but doubt the stress of the Liverpool job would appeal to him at the moment

Hicks and Gillett must realise that appointing Daglish would not only make financial sense but also boost all our spirits and as a consequence stem the increasing level of hatred towards them.............

stop dreaming as hicks and co would never give kenny the job. They want a lapdog now thats why in the next few days roy hodgson will be named as our coach.

Someone posted that the other day. Are there any links or quotes to that? I think he is an up and coming dynamic manager. But don't know enough about him myself tbh. We'll see what he's made of next Friday night. :D

I posted it on here over 2 weeks ago. I know for a fact that his agent has been approached and asked by LFC to meet after the WC. A mate of mine is related to Bert's wife.

I don't know an awful lot either other than he has been pretty successful in Holland with PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord (in both the league and Europe). From watching the WC the dutch have impressed me. Not really been tested yet but they look a strong team unit who work hard for each other. Think they might get found out on Friday though as they don't look great defensively (apparently due to 1st choice defenders being injured).

Capello had never managed in the premier league just like Eriksson hadn't.If the FA are going to appoint a foreign coach why not Wenger or Mourinho who have experience of the PL?

YEah if Robben was fit from the start too they would have looked better. Still they have quietly gone about their business.

Both good shouts but I doubt Wenger would leave Arsenal even to manage England. Mourinho is another matter. He may manage England 1 day but right now he has his chance at Madrid. Im sure in a few years whenn they sack him and England are crashing out of Euro 2012 he will be on their list.  :D
