So you think the 30 mil is infact purely based on what we will get from player sales? Ok yeah that's different. I was under the impression this was something on top of that.

Harry friggin redknapp . The scum advertising, bung taking , tax dodging harry redknapp . Wouldn't suprise me in the slightest, with our board . I have a theory . I think this is all a plan of our owners and directors to make the Seasie holders  give up there tickets . I really do , get rid of Rafa and put st prices up by £150 , get the corporates on the kop , bring in Harry . They would give up there tickets in there droves . There's a shed load of your die hards gone from the ground in one swoop . Loads more tickets available for the whoppers who'll take the ST's up and spend shedloads of dosh in Liverworld . Happy days indeed.

I'm torn, Van Gaal or Lippi?

its gonna be a Brit I'm sure of it but I want either of them two
All round the fields of Anfield Road

Stevie Heighway on the wing

If there was a chance we could get either of those then we should.

Do you know what im getting physical and emotionaly drained by everything that has gone on, . its really getting me down, me head is completly batterd and all over the place at the mo, Sometimes i think its all a bad dream and ill wake up in a minute, Just spoke to him and told him i wanna go away earlier on me holidays , i wanna go and sit in my house .by the pool sleazy book in me hand and know that when i wake up every morning im not gonna pick up a paper or turn the telly on and were all over it, just fed up with it all to be honest . i must of been asked about 50 times today at a BBQ , whats happening with your club, what are all yous moaning for .Yous are finished  Why this why that, who do you want as your next boss, You just find it get tiring mentaly trying to explain the inns and outs, About them two, Rafa , the dept , Stevie .the whole lot, Im really tired and i just want it all to go away now, Open a paper up or turn on the telly and find out weve got credible new owners and a top manager ,and  Players want to stay and fight for us ,

Does anyone else feel the same . or is it just me age. because im seriouslt phyicaly and emotionaly spent

Whoever comes in it seems nailed on that Masch is wanting away.

He alone generates £35m+, plus the sales of other fringe players can get us to £50m  (Babel £8m).

If we can build on Gerrard, Torres, Reina, Carra, Kuyt and use that £40-50m to replace the players who are only just good enough to be fringe, but now are starting most games...(like Ngog) then who is to say we can't go back to the season before last where with almost the players we have now we challenged.

I am quite heartened to hear managers declaring their interest, like Sven (less so Alan Curbishley!!), but the feeling seems to be that we are still a "top job" for most managers.

So with a new manager, the upturn in energy and motivation that can bring and 3 to 4 good signings things may not be as bad as many thought when Rafa first went.

I'd take Sven or Hodgson, but wouldn't want MON or any second rate like Curbishley who have never done it in the top half of the EPL.

I think though that we'll appoint a foreign manager, and not one that is heavily fancied by the bookies.  Probably someone who has shown signs of greatness, but not yet fully realised it.  Probably backed up with "old school" LFC back room staff/assistants  (like Lee, Dalglish, Rush, Thompson).

All in all though I'm telling myself there are a few reasons not to be as forlorn as I was at the end of last week!!   :nod

I think theres way too much drama on these pages to be honest. We will get a new manager and new owners and move on. The club is way bigger than any of the characters involved and I trust Dalglish to play his part and bring us a manager that will improve Liverpool on the pitch. Off the field will be sold and thats just a matter of time.

Has to be kenny, he'll bring in Air of dignity to the position, the first thing we'd see would be a lack of other managers/press cueing up to ridicule the manager/club/team simply because of the respect everyone has for the guy. Any potential new owners would know that kenny would gladly move back upstairs if they wanted their own guy in charge. Players would run through brick walls for him and we'd see some of the best attacking footy witnessed since...well... When kenny put barnes aldo Beardsley rush etc together. Superb.
