110% agree

and hes a slimy dodgy tax dodging footballagent paying bar steward

Daws people blamed that Storey for what went down at Portsmouth , Redknapp in my eyes was just as much at fault,
The two of them conniving together , Leave him were he is , let him carry on eating his pie an mash in Bethnal Green,

Yes he makes me laugh sometimes i admit that , But to many dodgy things have gone on with him , to have to go through all the rigmarole of us worrying about our manager again, His bezzy mate will love it though down the M6 , they could plot our demise togerther

Same bracket as O'Niell, maybe slightly better.

But to leave Spurs now when they've got to the CL would seem weird.
Not to mention the fact that he has a contract and I have a hard time seeing Spurs letting him off cheaply.

That's more or less how I see it. Except I'd actually prefer O'Neil if we're going the British route (or alternatively Kenny on an interim basis). It's looking increasingly like that's the way we're headed and seeing as we have no CL football next season and it being imperative we make a top four spot, it isn't a bad idea. These guys are proven performers in the Premier league relative to what they've been expected to achieve i.e. top four for Spurs is an excellent achievement, so too is three consecutive six-placed finishes for Villa. That's probably the kind of manager we need right now if we can't get someone like Hiddink.

agree there Nan, 'Arry has a questionable past when it comes to deals done with dodgy football agents and cash in hand. I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.

Talk about scarpping the barrel - Hiddink must be persuaded, anything less tham this calibre and we'll be doomed, the players must respect the coach, the rest don't command that.

Harry would be a good choice domestically, however, we won't be a European force again with him.

Hiddink, Lippi, Capello (yes capello) are some of the ones we need to go after

Harry Redknapp would crawl on his hands an knees up the M1 to get his a,rse in our managers chair, Champions league or no Champions league, Jamie would be guarenteed a nice little job for the family an all.
The only thing Harry would miss is a cheque book

Mustapha Rubb

Who the f'uck is he ! ?

Heavy betting in the far east has thrown this once renowned Turkish midfielder into the mix of those that can seriously be considered for the top job at Liverpool.

from Woofopedia

In 1969 the then teenager Rubbs playing career was cut seriously short when he lost a leg during the first half of a match against local rivals FK Kebab. Despite amputation and second half surgery, returning to the pitch in time for the penalty shootout the one legged Rubb was never quite the same player he'd previously been, some critics adjudged that even with only one leg his penalty shootout winner was a tad fortunate and that perhaps FC Kebabs 'keeper had made a sympathy flat dive towards the corner flag thus allowing Rubb to chip the winner in off the underside of the stadiums roof.

A victorius but disconsolate Rubb then retired into obscurity. He re-appeared some years later in Japan starring in many Godzilla movies as the fella who couldn't run/hop quick enough to escape Godzilla's rage.

Rubb however had never lost his love for football , he went on to accquire all his coaching badges and moving to Cambodia, famed for their uniped players, he was soon leading them to a disappointing but widely acclaimed first round knockout in the Asian Games.

Rubb resigned his posistion a national coach and went on to establish a string of massage parlours throughout south east asia. Many mourned his loss to the game but when asked yesterday about his reaction to the vacant managers post at Liverpool, Rubbs statement that he'd "always loved Liverpool, and that even before he lost his leg they'd always been his favourite team" sparked massive speculation that Rubb could be about to make a dramatic re-entry to the football stage.

This speculation was given further creedence when a journalist from the Lakes side review asked

What do you think of the current owners, could you work with them ?

Mustapha Rubb then responded with a chorus from West Side Story

Rubb tells Tom and George

:D

Sorry lads, just tryin' to lighten the mood here.
