I know this because I have spoken to a mate who works at a news hub.

come on mate look at the truth. Rafa got his agent to start to look for another job before xmas, his agent got found by the press and was snapped at another club in talks with the board.

Rafa talked his way out of that one but all close to the club know what has been going on.

Is it plausible that this is all happening because a new potential owner is close to buying the club and he want's to bring in his own man?

Hopefully it will be confirmed soon that his gone.  Should of happened at the end of the season but I'll take now.

ya contradicting pillock. i posted that and what did you say? they have 16m to pay him off.

It makes sense to moneymen to not have to pay that. Its Joe cole in the bag for example.

Is it really going to be a bad thing? I dont think so..

WTF are they doing sacking the manager when their trying to sell the club? Who is going to come in knowing the new owners will no doubt want their own man. We are going to end up with a caretaker manager.
If other teams like inter are after rafa I wouldnt be surpprised if the owners "sold him", we havent got the money to pay him off, there is know way this has been done for the right reasons.
