The events tonight ( and the debate on here ) all highlight what a mess this club has become......

It is hard to blame one person.....

But David Moores would be a good start

1.  Secures key players who apparently had lost confidence and threathened to leave
2.  Means we are about to be bought and rid ourselves of the Yanks

Why sack the manger if we are about to be sold? Why not leave it to them if thats the case?

I'm hoping it was part of the deal, so the new owners are not tarnished with sacking the manager as their first act.  Might not be popular with the fans....

Why? Why would you want players who are not playing for the sake of the football club first and foremost, nevermind if they don't get on with the manager or not. I'll say this: if Torres and Gerrard have anything to do with getting a manager the sack at this football club, then I want them sold ASAP. They can f*ck right off. You can just imagine the likes of Paisley or Shanks getting the jib of players. What would they do? They'd f*ck them off, that's what they'd do. Say what you want about Ferguson, but if you cross him, as good as a player you may be, you're gone. That's how it should be at this football club, but now we have players supposedly dictating the show? That's not Liverpool football club. That's a f*ckin farce where money and player power does the talking.

I see your point, but in our current circumstances we can afford to lose Benitez much more than we can afford to lose Gerrard, Torres, Reina etc who are reported to have "lost faith"

Thing is tho if  Paisley or Shankly was at the club they would have walked away a long time ago and not put up with these 2 idiots.This imo is what Rafa should have done and not wasted another 20 mil of the fans money end of day.

I find having a big POP at Moores a little harsh, I know he sold to the Yanks but he and his family did alot for our club over the years. A hell of a lot to be exact. I'm not saying he's blameless but we all make mistakes and he has admitted so.

errr no I only found out about them 2 weeks ago when I heard on news they was head of investment bank that helped take over our club then did some light reading about them few nights ago. Who is legbarnes by the way ? he sounds clued up.
