Maybe just maybe a buyer had said they want to buy the club but only if Rafa is gone so they can bring in the new guy as they do the hand over ?

This could explain why they can offord to pay the 16 mil ? who knows its just a guess.

the club has always said that the club is bigget than one man.....well not if it half of the first team.

its a sad day for the club, not just as we are sacking a manager but by the way it has been done and how long it has taken.

seems they could not do it face to face, must all be on the phones. but the forst report come in from a liverpool based reporter so its coming from the club.
