In hindsight I reckon BR regrets not playing Sturridge from the start, we gave them too much respect as they were only coming for the draw and maybe to steal a winner. If Lucas wasn't on as a holding midfielder what was the point of playing him

Need to pick ourselves up and just hope that someone does us a favor now. We tried right to the very end and we need to accept that a mistake cost us today. Is Henderson back for the Palace game?

The last time we didn't start well or score in the first half, we lost 0-2 (against Arsenal) so this is something the team will need to learn. All's not lost because City will need to win against Palace and Everton so it's not over just yet

We didn't look at the races from the start and Gerrards howler just left us with the uphill task of trying to break down an uber defensive side when we are not at our best, back in City's hands now, they've got a 6 point better goal difference than us and that's going to take some turning around in 2 games, especially when City are probably going to increase that GD over the next few games.
Feels like that 89 Arsenal game ATM.

Awful result and an awful performance, but its not a disaster.

I'm still of the belief that City will drop points and I'm sure we can beat both Palace and Newcastle. Chin up lads, we're still in this!! :buttrock

Some key players froze today...Cautinho was poor, Raheem didn't get into the game. Johnson was just ***** poor, Lucas was anonymous, Allen was so-so and Suarez was crowded out so there it goes. #WeGoAgain

Lucas, Johnson, Coutinho and Sturridge were all just f*cking awful. Gerrard and Suarez played poorly, and we've paid for it.

City already up 1-0 at palace, and this just looks like they'll run all over palace so that may be it for us. It's hard to try to look at the bright side right now, but I guess at this point we've just got to move on and be glad we're in the CL next season.
