I think everyone here would love Benitez be the man to land us the EPL.
The man has put up with so muchfrom the owners; lies and promises broken....
The season is over - much prespective I just feel he deserves one last crack

It would be impossible but the topic of benitez needs to given a rest for a while- everyone is fighting with each other ; everyone wants the best for liverpool- i've had go's @ benitez in the past but you can't argue with the fact that is been a while since so many of our players were coveted by major teams like madrid and barcelona----- some credit must be given to benitez for assembling such an impressive starting 11- maybe this is the summer when benitez shouldn't have to sell the likes of babel and benyaoun---------- these guys are good subs-------- benitez needs to be backed with actual money with no conditions ( i.e. selling players)

I am sure plenty big teams would have loved Hyypia, Riise, Hamann, Gerrard, Carra, Kewell, Owen under Houllier too mate, the difference being we weren't a selling club then, maybe this season we will find out that's just what we have become.

We need to sell fringe players before we go after a target- this will always put more pressure on the player coming in and the manager; enough money should have been given to benitez on top of what he got for alonso and arbeloa - we got in Aqualani and Johnson for the ALONSO AND ARBIE deal - where did the money that was made available before their sales go?
Wouldn't thatyou off if you were a manger?

The choice between Benitez and Hodgson................fuckin hell.
Best prepare for another shite season next year so.
In all seriousness
Do you not agree that Hodgsons attitude and approach to football this season has been miles ahead of Rafa?
They gave us a drubbing and lost in a final that we were supposed to pi'ss.
With Zamora as their best player...
I do.
But, then again, I think that a lot of manager's "attitude and approach" have been miles ahead of Benitez.
To me Benitez is stagnant and Liverpool play stagnant football with him at the helm.
However, I just cannot see Hodgson working out at Liverpool. Can't say why though. But, I just don't see it.
Lol feckin unbelievable... I'll let you two be, salivatng about hodgson becoming the next lfc manager...
Stupid cunt.
Can you not read?

None of them would fetch a price like Gerrard, Torres, Reina and Mascherano now though...

back then (summer 2004, when rafa took over) the highest transfer fee involving a british club was £29.1m - now its £80m.
