The choice between Benitez and Hodgson................fuckin hell.

Best prepare for another shite season next year so. :(

In all seriousness
Do you not agree that Hodgsons attitude and approach to football this season has been miles ahead of Rafa?
They gave us a drubbing and lost in a final that we were supposed to pi'ss.
With Zamora as their best player...

I do.

But, then again, I think that a lot of manager's "attitude and approach" have been miles ahead of Benitez.

To me Benitez is stagnant and Liverpool play stagnant football with him at the helm.

However, I just cannot see Hodgson working out at Liverpool. Can't say why though. But, I just don't see it.

Maybe having a manager with a poor away record over two seasons, with no experience in the big money transfer market or (recent/relevant) experience with top clubs that will count well for him and basically nothing special about him other than he reached a final of a mickey mouse cup with some decent wins along the way but then Burnley won a game or two against top sides yet we're not talking about signing up Coyle or Laws........................ or Pulis............................ or McCarthy ...........................

I think Benitez has more options than us at the moment - for this reason I'd be prepared to let him have one final crack at the league next year............

Everyone needs to dig - management and staff need to work over time this summer to stop the spiral effect
Players need to get their head out of their a---r---se and realise a) they play for lfc and b) no body in life agrees with their boss 100 per cent of the time and c) they are paid way over the odds

I can guarantee you Bentiez is 300 times more committed to liverpool than 80 per cent of our squad...... ( yes he bought them but unless we stop sending shrinks into medical test then how is he to know how a player acts in these scenarios)

And before its said- yes I have changed my tune on Benitez-  the man has dignity he isnt going to walk away from this mess as for torres- if he goes he goes-  after all he did walk away from a.madrid so we'd all be foolish to assume he anymore loyalty to us than he did to them

Re: Alonso - great player- massive loss -  but its time to move on...........

Ya I agree with you Saint but nobody in this forum decides anything at lfc

It would be impossible but the topic of benitez needs to given a rest for a while-  everyone is fighting with each other ; everyone wants the best for liverpool- i've had go's @ benitez in the past but you can't argue with the fact that is been a while since so many of our players were coveted by major teams like madrid and barcelona----- some credit must be given to benitez for assembling such an impressive starting 11- maybe this is the summer when benitez shouldn't have to sell the likes of babel and benyaoun---------- these guys are good subs-------- benitez needs to be backed with actual money with no conditions ( i.e. selling players)

yes you can argue with that fact - because it isn't a fact.

Gerrard, Torres and Masherano are the only players that are coverted by any of the big european clubs

... unless you can find me a credible source linking lucas with barcelona or Insua with real madrid ???

All speculation granted but wasn't reina wanted back in spain; aqualani wanted by Juve ; milan were after agger last year; benyaoun is wanted by seville ;  i suppose what i meant is that all the top clubs around much be looking at our troubles and saying to themselves - time to steal some gems ............

the spine of our team is excellent--- any manager would love to come into a club with that spine like ours
