I would rather have Kenny than Roy or MON and it would give everyone a huge lift and could keep Torres and Gerrard

Hodgson isn't the answer. He wouldn't win the title how would he spend £20 million on one player in the future were he to be in that position? Remember this is the same Roy Hodgson who took Blackburn to the bottom of the premiership after being given £20 million to spend having taken them to 7th in his first season there. How about Slaven Bilic?? his record with croatia is pretty neat. Though he played for everton once upon a time i think he is pretty good tactically and he has his own rock band!!!!! \m/

I'd be happy with Roy Hodgson and not just on the back of this past season. He did an amazing 'turnaround' job with Inter in the mid 90s.  He's managed 3 national teams.  He's English which for some reason, I'd like (though there's no real reason to think that helps in any way).  Think he'd steady the ship.  Probably help get the talented youth at the club through.  Would be far better adapted at working with limited funds in the interim (until we get some investment) and that's not a point to be underestimated.  How d'ya think that tw#t Errikson would fare without £100m to spend every bloody year?
