Have you ever seen him play before? He does it every time he scores. Have you only just noticed this? or have you only just started watching Liverpool?

Excellent article by Quinn. Crouch was awful tonight and he could do with reading it (saying that - if he reads it like he reads the game a football then it won't be much use)

It proves to me once again that being tall doesn't mean you can head it and being short doesn't mean you can't.  John Barnes and Michael Owen used to get a fair percentage with their heads...and Garcia's was top drawer (he couldn't help smiling in the post-match interview, which was great to see.)  It was a good night, it's not often we score three.

very pleased with tonight on the whole. the team worked their socks off, the defence was unbreakable if not exactly in any great danger of being breached. and the wide play was better... crouch?, i think he is going to take a long while to develop. the quinn article is interesting if not stating the obvious and much as a nice bloke that he is, a cameo role for him in certain games is perhaps the best way at present. however, nando and garcia(eventually) were worthy of praise and its great to see a couple of absolute belters hitting the net. more of it..! garcia was better after the switch.
as for steven gerrard, he is the one player at the moment who is efficient at working the right-midfield position, he and finnan linked well most of the game and for now id feel safe with SG out there, not the solution, but it seems to be working better than the previous permutations have.
overall, three points a solid honest performance. two consecutive victories in the bag. but possibly most encouraging of all, (hardly any tinkering) :;):  which can only encourage a bit of stability for a run of form. thats 2 won games. vital its 3 on saturday if theres to be any head of steam up.

Overall a very good night, hopefully 'Nando's goal will do wonders for his confidence,it's just a pity Crouch didn't get on the scoresheet.
Cracking goal from Garcia,he and the CL are a match made in heaven! :)

Poor old Cheatski eh?
I only saw brief highlights but by all accounts they played like cheating, snidey little t***ts,come on Anderlecht!! :D

A fantastic performance tonight.
Good goal from Mori, and his face while celebrating said it all - this man is trying his heart out for us.
I didn't see Garcia's goal cos someone (the woman) said "ooh, look at that!!!" - so I did and missed the bleeding thing.
Cisse's goal looked a neat finish from where I was sat.
The defence looked solid, apart form a couple of loose moments from Riise and Finnan. The midfield was dominant (even if Sissoko was quite after his yellow), and at least half the starting the strikeforce was effective for a change.
Crouch played like a bag of cr*p with a hole in it. Spreaded sh*t all over the shop. Sort it Peter - I can link up better than you tonight.

Why we are so different from the way we play in the EPL??? Is it because of the jersy and can we wear that when we play league games?

we played so well...if only the same can be said of our premiership performance.

Don't worry...i think we have turned the corner (to quote houllier  :p ). With SG on the right, we seem to have (until jan at least) to solve our RW problem. And rafa only made 1 change from west ham match too......

Bring on villa....

Three very well taken goals, really happy for Nando hes improving with every game.
We clearly missed Finnan a lot, look at the number of quality crosses he delivered into the box with Gerrard.

Nando is constantly improving and that will definitely benefit LFC. Let's just hope that the pain felt in his knee is nothing serious. We played very well as a team yesterday night and let's hope that we can see a similar performance against Villa.

I The reason its different is the style of play. Champions league gives the team so much more time on the ball, we settke into a rhythm so much quicker. The premiership is more hectic, you gotta win a midfield battle for 10 mins before anything significant comes out of the game
