Yes I agree they did[/quote]

I think Kuyt is a hard working player that seems like a nice bloke, but who should be a squad player rather than a regular first team player.
If he is so good in Europe ...... play him in European games but 3 goals in a season and a bit, seems a very small return in the league, especially for a team that has very few regular goal scorers. Can we afford to play someone every week who's main contribution is hard work, when its creativity and lack of goals that is seemingly our biggest problem?

The realms of bulls hit statements. It got censored, see?
I also answered the suggestion that because he starts regularly, Kuyt is somehow deemed a good enough player - I missed the reply to my question about Nicky Tanner...
Kuyt's touch is poor, he slows attacks down with his "running in treacle" pace, he's either a striker who often looks terrified to shoot or a right winger who doesnt have the craft or guile to beat a man.
Yes he works his off and runs all day and I admire that - I bet he can't believe his luck playing for our great club. I'd be happier if he worked slightly less hard and was slightly more technically gifted and talented as a footballer.
But he isn't, so instead of being allowed to criticise, we have to lower the bar of what's acceptable standard at LFC, and get blinkered idiots like you telling us that "working hard" is suddenly enough to justify a starting place in the team.
Oh, and despite all this, when I'm at the game, Kuyt, like the rest of the team, gets my 110% backing DESPITE all these blatant deficiencies, so telling me to get behind the team by posting on an internet messageboard seems a bit of a stupid suggestion... and par for the course apparently.
Or does he post on here too?
running in treacle. scared to shoot. can't beat a man.
every one of those statements is false. and you have the cheek to call me a blinkered idiot. You also will go to the ground and get behind the player only to come onto message boards like this and cry and whinge like a baby. That makes you two faced. And how can you possibly compare a defender from 15 odd years ago to a forward player of today? Cause he was a poor player? He was moved on because of that, as were the rest of that medicore back line. Rafa has no plans to move on Kuyt, Why? because he knows hes a good player from working with him every day, as do his team mates. So if your gonna spout opinionated garbage and drop little passive-aggressive insults why dont you at least give practical and specific examples so you at least have a shred of clout. Otherwise go back to supporting whoever it was you follwed pre May 2005
Ok, I was wrong, he's pacey, tricky and dynamite in front of goal. Remind me when he last scored in the league again?
And your criteria for somebody being good enough was that they're a regular starter. Utter nonsense.
Have you never seen Kuyt one on one with a fullback before or something? It's quite cringey, with the defender knowing full well he won't dribble past him watching him pretend he's going to cross, then actually going to cross and usually managing to win a throw-in as the ball deflects off said defender.
And "two-faced"? Make your mind up - you think Kuyt's feelings are hurt by me being "two-faced" like this? Or would you rather I actually went to the match and told him what an incredibly limited footballer I think he is? You've just said I'm not allowed to do that so what exactly is it that you want!?
You support the team on matchdays no matter who lines up. If you think different, you're clearly a retard.
I was cheering on Don "the beermat" Hutchison and Jimmy effing Carter in the past, so for some gimp on a messageboard to suggest I shouldn't cheer Kuyt because he's an average player suggests you're the one who was supporting another team before 2005. Clown.
Another WUM. keep firing insults around like your doing and you'll be looking some other msg board to cry on. Again you points on Kuyt are nothing but bull5hit
He goes past players all the time. try paying attention
hes not lightning quick but the last time i checked Cisse and Baros were moved on from this club as that was the only attribute they possessed.
hes not prolific cause hes playing on the RIGHT SIDE OF MIDFIELD. When he was misfiring up front the club was in turmoil and his father had died. Some people struggle to come to terms with these things, especially when his dad was a relatively young man.
And just to clarify on a misperception alot of you Kuyt bashers have. I do not, and am pretty sure I speak for others on here when I say this, believe Kuyt is on the same level of a Gerrard or Torres, far from it.Nor do I believe he should start automatically. I simply believe the guy is a good player who may lack certain technical qualities but makes up for them with other skills, which are his determination, workrate and teamwork. If the most gifted sides always got the spoils Arsenal would romp the league and Barcelona would win the European Cup every season. IT DOESNT WORK LIKE THAT
I can give you no better example of this than when we beat Barca in the Nou Camp in 07. Barca for all there technical ability and skill were outdone not by superior football but by a team that showed more workrate, more detirmination and a better tactical balance than the fancy dan elite could cope with. Every side needs this balance
This thread is descending into a total joke. I cannot believe I have not only read a Liverpool supporter that he wished a player injured or dead, joke r not, but that a supposed fan actually wished Arsenal would "give us a thrashing to wake some of us people up". what us people is that exactly. the people that realize our season isnt over because we only drew with Stoke or the people that come on here and back up 1 of our players when some of you come on here and write about him with the kind of distain i would associate with an attack on a peodophile

ok what about kuyt being the second highest in assists last year behind gerrard ? and already created chances and goals this season .

Teammates?
I have never seen Kuyt take on and beat his man. If you say otherwise that is a lie.

You can spin it either way.
For example, I could ask you when his last league goal was

I think there's a difference between the last pass before a goal, and actually creating the chance.
For example I'm certain you're including his pass to Babel against Man Utd in that bracket, and it was an intelligent, cool pass, he hardly created it - Mascherano created that chance though.

OMG you are now CHANGING THE MEANING OF FOOTBALL TERMS to suit your arguments.![]()
An assst is a pass that leads directly to a goal. therefore Dirk Kuyt gets the assist. Does that really p1ss you lot off or what? so hes scored goals against Arsenal, Chelsea, Inter and AC Milan and set up a winning goal against Manu. You're all right, hes completely useless and has no benefit to this Liverpool side

Those facts alone blow your arguments right out of the water. How many players can you think of that have contributed so much against so many other top sides?
