You know if Dirk was to ever read this thread I reckon it would destroy his confidence. I remember someone asking him when he first arrived how he prefers his name to be pronounced. I think he said something along the lines of 'as long as you are saying nice things you can call me what you want'.

You bunch of insensitive :censored:. lol

I'll tell you what; I'd rather go for a pint with Kuyt than 9/10 of the moaning, whinging 4-lettered vagina's on here...

I tell you what, if you told Dirk that there was posters on here who were saying he was just as important to the team as Gerrard and Torres, even he'd have a laugh about it  You couldn't make it up you really couldn't.

Anyway, like they say it is all opinions   :D

i expect he would be glad of the compliment and happy that all his work is being rewarded with high praise like that from fans that realise his worth to the team .

That would be the dip in form which was caused by injuries and wingers not making the right runs .

We've already done that one mate, everyone had an opinion there too, might be best to leave that one  :;):

It's a possibility. Alternatively, he might just conclude that whoever is saying it is absolutely clueless  .

Anyway I sense a spat developing, and in the interests of self moderation I'm going to feck off for a bit and won't respond to any responses, if that makes sense. the last words go to Lando and GYBS, byeeee.

he may well do but he might also look at some peoples views and think - is this the sort of attitude they show towards liverpool players who produce the goods and work their heart out for the club and think f.uck that - also other players who have had nothing but praise for the lad may think what sort of fans do we have these  days when they say things like that against a player who is important to us . im sure it was both torres and gerrard who have both stated throughout last season how important he is to the team . but then they maybe clueless and say b.*ll*c*ks as well .

xabi was also extremely important to us last season up there with the likes of kuyt, pepe, nando and gerrard and will be a big miss next season but hopefully we can add a new dimension to our play with a plyer who plays a little higher up the pitch .

is that good enough answer for the forum gods :O
