Not sure there are any Kuyt "haters" Reginald, although there may be one or two who don't buy into the "best right midfielder in the Premiership" mantra.

I know it makes the World go round and all that, but quite why if you have a dissenting word to say about the manager you "hate him with a passion and dream about his wedding tackle" has always been a mystery to me, and this thing with Kuyt is similar in many respects. Not you particularly Reg, but some people simply cannot countenance a possibilty that anyone would have a word to say against him. If you do point out that he's either not quite Usain Bolt in the pace department, not quite Steven Gerrard in the shooting department, not quite Xabi Alonso in the passing department, or not quite me in the skill department people lose all grip on reality.

He's a good player right enough, with limitations. Nobody "hates" him though, do they    ???

I think you only have to read through this thread to see some of the feeling towards kuyt by certain people over the last season to understand they do hate kuyt playing for us

define hate, is it the kind of feeling I have towards your posts or just a feeling that Kuyt could perhaps still have some more skill despite having proved himself to be very useful to the team lately.

Well, I for one will never anknowledge Kuyt as a great offensive star.

He works his socks of but is not good enough qualitywise.
But I have come to terms that he is Rafa forgotten son and that
saying we might be better at breaking down teams with a more creative skillful player is sacrilege.

Still counting the titles we have won since Kuyt came  :D

He is alright, as I agree with some posters here, he still has his limitations but his attitude and proffessionalism makes him very consistant.

Derek is a feckin legend . He's defo made that right hand side his own . He's not torres's equal all of a sudden . Niether is he the worst player to put on a LFC top . He's Derek and he's ours . One think i have noticed this pre -season is he is looking up alot more before putting a ball in the box . Last year he was just throwing it in there and hoping for the best .

Ok the opposition were poor ,but if that is indeed the case how come only kuyt shone ? isn't that more concerning to the (I don't know what he brings to the team brigade ) ?

Its completely baffling how some posters think we would be a more complete team if Kuyt was replaced with a flair player, with a penchant for flicks and step overs   :(

Who the F is Derek?? Are you trying to pronounce his name in a Dutch styley, in that case it should be pronounced Deerek I think. His surname is a different story, Ihav eno idea how to write is phonetically  but the u and y are squeezed really tight together. I only know this form having a few pints in Rotterdam with a scary Feyernord fan who got a bit agitated when I pronounced his name in the English prem commentator style.  :help

Yes especially that thunderous shot straight at the keeper, he did set up some nice goals though. Anyway who says that Kuyt was the only good player, what about Riera, Mascha, Xabi, Nando, Nemeth, I could go on with the notable exception of Eggnog.  :p

Kuyts gonna be legend for LFC this season!!

No doubt about it...ya can all say he wastes the ball and all that..To me Kuyts attitude is what LFC have been missing for a while throughout the squad!!

The lad is gonna be an LFC legend...and he deserves to be...I love him!!

They call N'Gog "wash", isn't that a bit racist?

Was not trying to have a dig at you Igor, just trying to give some information, I genuinely thought that you were trying to pronounce his name in Dutch, sorry if I offended you.  :sniffle
