He could become a legend at this club during the next 4 years. We will all love him and he will love us.
Im with you on that one welsh,
Im also expecting a good assist rate off him,
For me, a very good signing.

He is however injury prone - not good.
12 goals great! i mean cisse didnt offer that
Quit your moaning and slating, how about giving the guy a chance before you start on him. Criticizing him before hes even pulled on the red shirt, ridiculous.
i will support him, im just suprised how many people are expecting this guy to come here and be some superstar striker. He will be decent no doubt, as he is a decent player but no more than that, in fact i do think he will get around 12 to 15 goals next season in all competitions, but i dont think thats what we need right now. We need someone to score about 25 in all competitions next year.
Bellamy is decent
Sorry but hes class and will get 20 - 25 for us, he averages better than 1 in 2 in the last couple of seasons and is at a far better club, the lad will be a revelation, i suggest you watch him before saying hes a "decent player" Because if you think that you havent sen much of him.
He will get half your expected 12 - 15 goals in the cup.

i have watched him, i never comment on players i dont watch. I really i cant see how u think he can score 25 goals in a season, he's not that sort of player, he is not an out and out goalscorer.

Am I right in thinking has been used to pretty good effect as a right winger on several occasions?... Just wondered if his versatility in that regard has been a factor. Maybe we're only after one right mid as opposed to two.
Regardless, £6m for a British striker of his quality is utter peanuts, and it's a definite no-lose signing even if things don't pan out.
Welcome to Anfield, Mr Bellamy.

Welcome to Anfield, Mr Bellamy.

Souness played him there when he first started at Newcastle, Bellamy didnt like it and thats how the problems between the two of them started.
He did alright out there from what I remember though. Certainly a lot more naturally adept at running the wing than we've seen from the likes of Diouf and Cisse.
If we do bring in a quality right mid as first choice for that position, maybe it'd be a good option to move Bellamy out there as back up and bring in a different striker, as opposed to rejigging the centre of midfield to move Gerrard over there.

well hes never been my favourite player as I said in previous posts, but I do think he will only bring strength to the squad, I mean there are not many proven premiership strikers of his pace and ability to score goals which you can pick up for a snip at 6 million, I watched him for Tic and he terrified defenders, no defender like someone running at them, he did the same at Newcastle and Blackburn, yes he got attitude but I'm sure Rafa and the team can harness it in a positive way, he's seems to have bitten rafas arm off at the chance to play for the club he supported as a kid,
hes a Liverpool player now so let get behind him and give him the support we give all our players, if he c**ks up then we can hang him out to dry........
