Good result today against Bolton but I was far from impressed by our defending, especially at set pieces.  We could have lost this game against a better side.  On a positive note Babel played particularly well and bagged a deserved goal.

:censored: Everton.........................&  Torres has always played as a lone striker ever since he was a kid, it probally suits him more then any other formation

We have three straight home matches up next in the Prem.

West Ham, Newcastle and Reading.

We should be expecting to win all three.

No excuses.

We have to win because I expect Everscum to beat Sunderland, Fulham and West Ham.

Torres had a shocker , but another 2 points back on arsenal now all we have to do is beat manu and arsenal then it'll look respectable

The idea of the formation was to allow Torres, Babel and Gerrard freedom to move around and it worked with Babel and Gerrard but Torres couldn’t really get in the game. It’s an extremely tough role to play and apart from Drogba I haven’t seen many people succeed at in the Premiership.

Babel did really well, we must persist with him in the starting 11 for the rest of the season. Giving Gerrard freedom is the way to get the best out of him, but he is one stroppy @rsehole, needs a big slap in the face.

So far so good with Skrtel, a proper defender who isn’t afraid to step forward and distribute. Carragher looks lost when he asked to do anything remotely inventive with his passing, leave him at centre back where he is safe and steady.

Mascherano is top class, bit worried about Alonso though, maybe he will be off in the summer, especially if we are able to do a swap deal with a good player.

Had to make do with listening to the match on radio and just watched the highlights. Great result but what a save by reina ! Im not worried about alonso, a few games more and he'll be back to his best.

3 wins on the trot...8 goals...5 different scorers. We're not relying solely on Torres to bang them in now (even if he has scored three of the eight) it's not just down to him. The rest of the side is contributing which is a great thing to see.

Give West Ham a twatting in midweek then put more misery on Newcastle at the weekend, and go into the Inter game full of confidence.
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.
