Liverpool Football Club - Games

It's a shame really that we're only fighting for 4th with the kind of football that we're playing.

Great game and a fantastic result.

0-5
4-0
5-1

In the title race with 13 games to go it's been a great season.

Real belief now, a stable formation - we have to push on now and stop dropping points against small teams. Well done the Reds.

We'll done lads, we are now in the title race. Our effort will reshuffle the top 3 and we got rid of that annoying stat of not beating Arsenal at home in some style!

March on to 3 points in the game :buttrock

Are we??? We are only 5 points at the moment from the top with a great goal difference

Hopefully this result can bring some real belief in this team and leave the negative inferiority behind us

There is space for a good debate about this, but I think that with 13 games left, we'll have to win at least 11 including Chelsea and City while we can only lose about 5 points. I'm not saying that it's completely out of the question but it will be extremely difficult.

That's the best 20 minutes of football I've seen Liverpool play against a major team in a long, long time.

That stat was always so stupid, and yet touted everywhere.. Failed to beat any of the clubs above them yet… Well when you're in fourth, not many clubs are above you, and we played them all away from home where combined they've lost what, 2 games at home all season? And one of those losses was against another in the top 3…

Anyway, great game. We are hard to beat at home. It's always the lesser games we struggle, like home to Villa and away to WBA. Those were rough points to lose, but we can beat anybody on our day, and when we play home to big clubs, we usually make sure it's our day. I could actually see us finishing above Arsenal now. I was worried we had so many home games against top clubs, which is an advantage for a title contending club, but for one going for fourth it can be bad to have all your home games hard when you need points there. Now, if we beat the likes if City and Chelsea at home, get at least a point at OT, we may well be fighting for third with our sites at least within distance of the title. We won't win the title, but we could be close.

I ramble when I'm extremely happy.

Stunning !

The first 20 minutes were unbelievable  :buttrock

And it could so easily have been 7-0 at half time  :wwww

An almost perfect performance from every member of the team.

How many times before the game did BR and Stevie remind them of that infamous extra £1 that the arrogant fkrs bid for Luis !! I thought they  looked pumped against Everton but this was a new level. Fk Wenger's excuse that they were poor. WE MADE THEM LOOK LIKE RELEGATION FODDER IN THE FIRST TWENTY MINUTES

Just hope the owner bashers are feeling slightly better  :grinning:

:Oo:

Yeah it was so good to see the owners at what could be a season defining game  :buttrock

OH  :lookaround , wait a minute, they weren't there

Stop doing a "Betty" and for now let's just stick to talking about what the team did on the pitch today.
