No fecking around here, not in the mood for a humorous match thread. This one is purely functional.
The title is NOT lost. everton are more than capable of taking points off City.

so our team talk is this...

Go to Palace, win the fecking game.

thats all.

With your recent track record Lee, is this sensible?

I have a feeling we win this but I think it will be tight single goal margin. However, imagine if we go and knock 5 or 6 past them?? Suddenly the title race hots up again.

Yes!

My thoughts exactly. What better time that to rewrite history. Imagine the shockwaves if we destroy City's GD advantage in a single game.

This could be a tricky game after the setback Sunday.
Lets hope the players have moved on and realise they can still do this.
We will know a lot more by Saturday evening but regardless of whether City win at Everton we have to go there and really do the business.

I am going down without a ticket so going to party all day anyway  :buttrock

We've put a veritable shed load of goals past this lot in previous seasons when we didn't have the strike force we have now.. I know Pulis has done and ok job with them but a massive score against these and Newcastle could make things very interesting.

I was there SS, it was a midweek game (quite early on in the season) and I think we had about 8 different scorers on the night.
Back to the present - what we can't do is now throw in the towel thinking City have got it wrapped up only to see them drop points to West Ham or someone, that would be a double sickener, if City want this title let's make them earn it, let's not hand it to them on a plate.

I remember it a bit. Did we lose the return or an FA cup match to them in the same season?

Yup, spot on mate, being a semi it was held at Villa park, Alan Pardew (yes, the Newcastle manager) got the winner in extra time.
