Rafa is an excellent engineer he would be great in the computer and design world - unfortunently players aren't Robots and the game has a flow of it's own ,feelings and passion which Rafa is not programmed to cope with.

Bye Bye

See, this is what makes me laugh at times. How the f*ck can anyone on an internet forum say that the man is lousy at money management, a lousy scout? Scout? It's not his f*cking job to scout. That's why you have people called "scouts" you know that do that particular job. A lousy players coach? Ask Mascherano, Pepe Reina and Torres about that? That's right, you can't. Down at Melwood every day, are you? Speak to the players during training? No. Wrong ideology when it comes to football? Right, Special One! I take it you've managed a football club and won bigger honours, then?

I don't mind it when someone actually comes out and puts forward a knowledgable argument for their opinions, but it's absolute tripe like this that just does my head in.

See you are obssesed with me as i am with Rafa - guess we should both seek treatment....

Again you have no clue nor opinion when writing your posts..

Lousy money manager - paying 20++ for Keane , 20++ for injured Aqua not enough for you?

Lousy scout? well i assume he does go over the tapes and decideds who would come to Anfield doesn't he? Dossena ,Lucas ,Babel ,Keane ,Aurellio ,Arbeloa ,Skertel...all players with no impact no signture on the game...

Players manager...well havn't been to the dressing room (neither did you) but got some clues from Riera,Babel..others nor does Rafa character and behaviour prooves you the other way..

So i need to to coach a football club to know that i like attacking ,risk taking ,happy free football?? really guess all of us should shut up and bow down..

Talk to the point not to the person.

I see you're in here still gurning.

Here's the difference: I don't write posts 'pretending' that I know what I'm talking about regarding Rafa's man management, money handling, tactics etc etc. I am not a qualified football manager and nor would I, or YOU, have any clue about going about managing us either. To spout the absolute w@nk you just wrote is as presumptous as it is idiotic. It just makes you look like a complete tool. Which you are.

Tbh our team went down hill when Pako left. Mourhino needs to come in and we NEED the new buyer to hurry up so we can buy players this summer.

Our expectations as a club will be dependant on how much money we get to spend in the summer. Last time I checked Rafa doesn't sign the cheques.

Rafa Benitez's guarantee of a top four spot for Liverpool proved to be hollow but I have my own three-point plan for long-term success at Anfield - which I guarantee WILL work.

Point one has happened after the club’s hapless US owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett have finally confirmed they are willing to sell up.

They have had enough and are going, and thank God for that.

Point two would be Liverpool winning the Europa League this season, which would then lead into point three.

With the trophy clinched, Liverpool could parade it in front of their fans in Hamburg’s stadium.

Boss Benitez could then lift the trophy and walk down the tunnel and out of the club with a fond farewell and his head held high.

The new owners could then come in and recruit Jose Mourinho from Inter Milan and give him £100million for new players.

I have been banging a drum for Mourinho to come to Anfield since last season because I believe Rafa is simply not the man to end the club’s wait for a League title.

But there is no disguising the fact the season has been very poor - even if they end up winning in Europe.

They could finally win the championship again with Mourinho in charge, and battling it out in the later stages of cup competitions is what the club deserves.

If my plan is delivered I can guarantee that - unlike Rafa.

That is just pathetic.

So the special one winning when he gets 100-200 million to spend in one go makes him so much better than Rafa who has got a fraction of that over 6 years.

On one hand it seems you should be able to win the title at Liverpool without a real backing of at least 20-30 million/season, which is why Rafa fails.

But at the same time that **** Mourinho has never had anything but shedloads of money when he is winning.

So when he spends 200 millions and win the title with Chelski he is so ****** great and the man to lead us to glory when
we have never ever been in a situation where we have been able to bankroll a manger like that.

What kind of stupid logic is that??  :no

we will never win anything again using rafas tactics. The best form of attack is defense in rafas eyes?

His philosophy is that you build from the back end.
And that top class wingers cost 3 times what top class defenders cost.

Truth to be told, Rafa's style suits cup competition and he'll never overahieve to win the league. If you give him lots of time and lots of money(as most managers) he'll win the league imo.
He wants to have(buy) players that fits into his system and the better they are they better the system works.
But he isn't going to buy cheap and buy finds and try to make them fit the system. Rafa isn't a man manager who will try to nurture players, he wants developed ready players that can follow his instructions right away.

Good point but not every club can win even they have spent plenty of money or even close to winning it. Do give Mourinho some credit.

Well, I can give credit when credit is due.
But to even say Mourinho's achievements at chelski have relevance for LFC is bull****.

Rafa has never had 200 million to play with and he still beat Mourinho in 2 CL semifinals with teams costing a fraction of the "special ones" teams.

Mourinho has always got what he has pointed at, like a spoiled child and never have been close to being forced to buy at the 2nd hand shop.
Not one shred of evidence he could come in here on a shoestring budget and do better than Rafa, just cause he won the title with 200 million to spend.

there might and i say might be news coming out today that Mourinho's men are in talks with Man City.

It seems that his team are working hard for him on a new job, Liverpool was not talked about in the report.

I did not get this from any friends but read it on a media forum.
