I have always believed we have a team that is much better than what they have shown throughout this season, that while investment and new players would be welcome, this team is capable of so much better than the results and performances we have seen.
Yes, we have yet to see them really perform to that level away from home, but at least its a start.
I am still buzzing from last nights performance , something that has been all too rare up to now this season.

The questions are:
What would a different manager, a good one, do with this team? How would he set up? What formation and tactics would he use?
On our day we have proven we can beat ANYONE. We just dont have the consistency. I believe this is because of the manager. Others will differ.

I think that was mainly Hicks and his entourage mate

I think that was mainly Hicks and his entourage mate. In all seriousness I did hear the die hards trying to get the chant going a few times but it petered out to nothing very quickly. I don't FWIW think it's too significant, if we were to win this competition I'm pretty sure it'd be pretty loudly sung then.
The reality is that while many have swung onto an anti Rafa slant, they aren't "lifers" and could be swayed by a few good results or the odd decent performance. My guess is that Rafa will DEFINATELY still be in charge next season (see earlier posts) and that this time around we will get into the top four without too much fuss and have another cup run. That should be enough to keep most happy I should have thought.

Thanks for the support , NO!!
A one rare moment that is, he rarely shows happiness when we are winning
.He should be more like Mourinho, or that kid... what was his name...... oh Ferguson, right
.
Dont mind Morinho, that's a bloody good start in learning how to celebrate a goal!
lakes10 wrote:right there is a rumor going around football right now that Valencia are willing to pay off Liverpool to take Rafa as their manager.
The rumor seemed to start just after kick off at last nights Valencia game.
Untill now Valencia have said they have not spoken from Benitez team but press reports say Benitez's team turned up for a meeting in January .
anyway just a rumor
