The issue I have with Rafa is that I just get perplexed and frustrated by his team selections and tactics.

We took apart Portsmouth and have we played that formation again? No

We took apart Sunderland and did we play that formation again? No

The only formations he seems to play time and again are the defensive ones which have either resulted in a draw or a narrow deafeat this season.

If others can see this why can't Rafa. ???

Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Some of you are actually aware of the fact that Birmingham are no push-over at home, right? Right. Then with that in mind, some of you surely are aware that we hit the bar and created a dozen more decent chances to win the match? We made ONE defensive f*ck up and it cost a goal. Pepe barely had anything to do in that game. In fact, reading through this thread, there is more emphasis and crying over something that was almost a certain fact weeks ago that fourth was gone and even then well out of our hands at least. There is more crying about that substitution and less about actuall football talk concerning the game itself. In fact, there is more gurning on this forum than any other LFC related forum I've ever been to which makes the place one seriously depressing and infuriating read. Lando has been banned off of here a few times now, and to be honest, it's perfectly understandable why he resorts to flying off the spout more and more often. I can't blame the fella.

Point being, you make your point about the manager in the thread specified. ONE F*CKING SINGULAR THREAD! Not every b*stard thread there is, spouting the same monotonous sh*te over and over and f*cking over. Some are more depressing sounding than that robot from Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy and I'm being serious about that.

I havent read the aftermath of this thread so apologies emeralnd if i am misinterpreting your point.
But are you happy enough that Rafa did all he good to maximise our chances of taking the 3 points ?
Taking Torres is off is always something that will weaken the side, but when his replacement is Ngog then its a ridiculous substitution that severley weakened our attack.
Yes we created alot more when he went off but it was still a silly substitution whatever way you look at it.

I actually agree about the point not being a bad one in usual terms, but its not a good one when you need 3.
Go for the jugular, keep your best players on the pitch in their best positions and i guarantee we would have more of a chance of winning away matches.
Not really rocket science to me.

I'm sure I heard on SSN that Torres had a bag of ice on his knee Ben - so it may not be a ridiculous as it sounds to bring him off
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
