If they were both to go I very much doubt it be Juve. More like Rafa to Juve & T+M to Barcelona!

As if Juve could afford Torres & masch  :glare:

Exactly what I thought when I first read that. Don't make me laugh.

Its fairly well known that Serie A will lose their 4th CL spot to the Bundeslegue (however its spelt) due a lack of success in the CL over the past 5 years. One of the key reasons for this dip in form is the inability to compete financially with the Spanish, English etc.. clubs. Hence recent criticism the Italian game is boring as hundreds of Brazilians and Argentine youngsters flood into the Italian game whilst the top names like Kaka and Ibramhovic have departed. The lack of investment is largely put down to clubs not owning their grounds but rent them (and share them) from the local council. Hence profits are limited and development is zero.

Juve are bucking the trend with plans to build their own stadium - one of the few clubs will own theirs, so they can break out of this cashless cycle and grow a business. Of course we know this familiar story only too well.

That means of course they wont have a transfer kitty to get excited about for the next 3-5 years and any high profile manager wont be interested.

So Rafa + Torres and Masher to Juve........  which ignorant pr@t  open his gob and spouted that cr@p??

As always Reg is the voice of reason.  :;):

Makes me laugh how these papers draw up rumors.

The truth is if Torres were to leave he would not leave for any club in England. He wouldn't go to Germany or as you say Italy and he isn't going to go to Madrid. Which leaves only Barca and I can't see them being able to afford him either tbh. They were balking at 35Mil in the summer for Mash so how on earth will they afford Torres?

He isn't going anywhere.

I'm not sure that's going to be the case, reg. Their new stadium will be ready the season after next and will cost only slightly more than it took to take Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid. Funded predominantly by a €50m loan and the sale of marketing rights as I understand it. They have no significant debt burden and turn a profit.

Besides, they will attract a high calibre of manager just by virtue of their standing in European football, whether they're highly paid or not.

Why the fk do you think Real Madrid would be remotely interested in Benitez. Sorry forgot it was football - fk the job up - get a massive pay off - go to bigger club and get even more money - why?

If football didn't exist what job would Mick McCarthy have? Just a thought!! Or even worse Sam Allardyce? Hull sack a manager that has done an ok job and bring in Ian Dowie to take them directly to the Championship - it could only happen in football!

Hang on a second. Just after one game in charge and you think he's :censored:?

Errr yeah he is, I havent got no time for Phil Brown but he was good for Hull mind you he didnt get sacked for his football management rather his bedroom antics with a certain persons daughter.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

yer he done a great job at Hull and in truth every manager gets on with him apart from Rafa, shame he had a problem with keeping his dick where is should be.
I think he would have got Hull to stay up.......but in the end the only thing he gotto stay up this year was his dick and it cost him his job.

A managers job is only safe for the game they set the team out for now. no manager is safe in there job, not even the big 2.

Arsene Wenger took a big risk in building a young team and was lucky to have a boss that let him do that based on what he had won for the club over the years but if his team had been out of the CL and were 5th right now he would have got the sack or have left this year.

Dont know and dont bother about his history. Just thought it's a bit early to conclude anyone to be a lousy manager after 1 game in charge and we have our own to worry about.

Have you got a stadium link, I´d like to see it if you have. Why is theres so cheap yet ours way more expensive?
