Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I'd support the club and the team regardless of who is the manager. As I've said many times, as Rafa is currently the manager I hope he miraculously turns it around and we win something. I couldn't give a feck about humble pie, bring it on.

If they got rid of Rafa and gave the job to Steve McLaren (please God no) I'd support the club, the team, and him. What I wouldn't do though, is cease to have an opinion purely on the grounds that such and such is the Liverpool manager. If whoever is the manager outspends manchester United and arsenal yet can't get us above Birmingham, I'd be on his case. I'd say exactly the same thing whoever was in charge.

Ironic really isn't it

Real fans will walk through a storm to support their club. As long as they like the manager and he's never told them to shush.

I wonder how many of those "real fans" were around before their beloved Benitez.

Honestly, sometimes the Benitez love-in makes me puke.

The only logic to me is because of his battle with the owners is why he gets so much backing.

The fact that this seasons performances are also putting us in a perilous position seems to just being overlooked by so many supporters.
They seem blinkered to seeing just the one problem, or should i say the dual problem of the owners.

Maybe its time for a bit of "GLORY HUNTING", because I for one am sick of promises of "next season" and failure and would like a nice cup or two to go along with all the promises.

What I don't understand is why the feck are these "Glory Hunters " following Liverpool anyway? There's not been much "glory" around for going on for four years now!

Maybe its time that these "TRUE FANS" found another club that is happy with failure, and left Liverpool to the fans brought up on the fact that first is first and second is nowhere! "Here we go gathering cups in May", as now become as redundant as these "real fans" and their low expectations and Uriah Heep complex.

Feckin get in there my son!  :buttrock

You will take great offence for a while mate but you'll get used to it. It is really annoying for the first year or so though I must admit.

fore fecks sake bigmick, who the hell on here ever labelled you as a glory hunter? you've been called many other things, but not that to my knowledge.

Rafa is on his own journey at the moment, walking though the wind and the rain, and while he is still Liverpool’s manager I will gladly walk alongside of him and encourage him to turn things around. I won’t let him walk alone.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

What rain?
What are you on about?

I know I was saying I think it's time for Rafa to leave but being the fickle :censored: that I am I am now saying - In Rafa we trust.

He at least deserves another year to turn things around. After Istanbul and seeing how close we got last year he deserves that at a minimum. This summer he will get lots to spend the owners realise this now!! They know if they carry on down the same path it isn't worth them being part of the club as they will not make any money. :;):
