Papers are running out of "who`s next" storys so now there just making them up.
The fact that neither side (H&G and DIC) are talking to the press has to be a good thing, its shows somethings going on IMO, i mean come on as soon as they said that the stadium plans are on hold they might as well of said we`re skint, there is no chance the banks are going to keep lending them more and more money every season and their not stupid enough to watch there "investment" shrink, which it will if they stick around.

Agreed mate, the banks will look at the lack of stadium and think we cant lend them money, the pairs position is unsustainable now even if they are stubbirn about selling, as money talks and they will be forced to sell on by the banks.

DIC look like they have a proper plan in place, even if they sell on in 7-8 years which they said they will do atleast we will be in a position to sustain ourselves financially with a new stadium and hopefully new found success!

The 7 year plan was DIC`s though mate, its supposedly the sheihk him self who`s looking to buy us now, if it goes through i can see him holding on to us for a bit longer than that and i think that could well be the reason behind the shift, DIC would have to look at it purely as an inverstment to sell on, while he can be a little more personal and not have to worry so much about this figure balancing with that one.
I also think that he would see the fact we need a new stadium as an attractor. The sheihk has over seen the building of some many great buildings in Dubai, going so far as to sack any architect who was sily enough to state "it cant be done", with the sheikh`s money anythink can be done.
No i think he`ll very much look forward to putting us in a stadium which first shows the team off but second is a clear sign of his power.
Thats not to say i think we`ll bid for everyone like city and neither do we need to but atleast the manager at that time could secure his number 1 targets.

I am sorry to be the vessell of doom, however, UNTIL Hicks & Gillette fail to meet interest/capital repayments then there is not much chance of the banks pulling the plug.

Think about it it we're LFC and there is serious money coming into the Premier league.

Why would RBS pull the plug when they are making so much money and there outlay is cast iron guaranteed safe....

As much as my heart tells me we will be ok my head says different.

Moores & Parry rot in hell for what you have done to our fabulous club.

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes as I for one hate to see what those two fat, stupid, Yankee Tw@ts have allowed to happen over the last 12 months.

:no

And how are they going to pay the banks when we dont qualify for the CL, will Hicks start selling off personal assets to stay in the seat.
No mate the time to sell is now and im sure every advisor he`s got has told him the same, Gillette`s just waiting for Hick`s to face facts and Hick`s silence in the face of all the rumors seems to confirm he has. :)

And thats the point with having owners in todays footballing circus... Haviing sound financial backing, the fact that he wouldnt throw his money about is a good thing for us long term. He would build us a proper stadium and we would acquire our number one targets and thats more important than a getting every player under the sun. Players and stadium mean sustained success, at the minute we have neither and we are struggling to compete!

Arsenal chief: We may be next for Middle East buy-out
By Steve Stammers, sundaymirror.co.uk 7/09/2008

Peter Hill-Wood has admitted that Arsenal could be a target for the Middle East invasion of the Premier League.

Arsenal were on the list of Abu Dhabi-based Dr Sulaiman al Fahim before he opted to invest £210million in the takeover of Manchester City.

But other financially-powerful Middle East families like the Makhtoums are keen to move into English football and Arsenal will once again be examined.

The Arsenal chairman said: "If somebody came and made a really huge bid then you cannot recommend shareholders turn it down because we don't like it.

"We want the club the stay in its current ownership and, of course, you have some concern that someone will try to buy the club.

"The directors don't want to sell but we are a public company. It depends on the price."

The Arsenal board have agreed on a lock-down arrangement until 2012 - largely to fend off interest from Uzbek billionaire Alisher Usmanov's Red and White Holdings company.

Arsenal is currently valued in excess of £300million with shares being traded at £8,200 each.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Thats the sad truth

very happy to say you are wrong

RBS need to show the Hicks can make money to be able to give him more if not this come under bad lending

As it stands right now Hicks is only just making money on some of his outlays.

Hicks would been seen as to high risk to give any more loans by most banks.

Dont forget that the world is in a credit crunch due to too much bad lending.

Why not just stick a big sign on the Emirates Stadium saying BUY US!
Shameless advertising that statement! :D

thee is always going to be a danger of that, they might look to bring in a third person, this was spoken about by some of the banks last week, if the third preson could cover the loan that RBS gave them they there could be more money given by banks, this my sound bad but in fact its not that bad, it sort of takes £200m off our backs.

Tony Evans who writes for the Echo was talking on the radio this morning, he said Everton & Liverpool will be meeting this week to dissguss a shared stadium and Torres will be sold in January to City to pay off the 30 million loan.

My advice to G & H would be how much do they value both their lives?

Torres be sold to cover a loan? Are they fuc.king mad? I cant fathom that this is actually an option? How are we meant to be moving forwards if we sell our best striker since Michael Owen?

No :censored: way Rafa will let this happen. If it does Rafa will leave and :censored: knows who else will follow...

Moores had the wool puled over his eyes by the yanks, on the face of it it look a great deal for the club, it was only when after the deal was done he found out like the rest of us they were not going to put their own money into the club.

I know it was not reported in the press but he did say to reports that "its like giving your child to someone only to find out they are a pedo"

you can see why it was not reported in the press.

ANIL AMBANI’S Reliance Group will fly in today with their sights firmly set on taking over a leading Premier League club – and crisis-torn Newcastle United are top of their hit-list.

Indian tycoon Ambani, who has a personal fortune of £21billion, can easily afford to buy out current Magpies owner Mike Ashley, now a reviled figure on Tyneside following Kevin Keegan’s departure last week.

But Ambani will have to be quick as another branch of the Abu Dhabi royal family are desperate to get their hands on a Premier League club, having seen Abu Dhabi United acquire Manchester City.

Ambani was offered control of Newcastle last month but baulked at Ashley’s £400million asking price. However another bid could prove successful following Keegan’s shock resignation.

Ashley is now in a position of weakness, knowing he cannot appear on Tyneside in the current climate, at least not without a police escort.

How can something like that happen? Surley when millions of pounds are at stake in a club as big as this all these details should be in black and white. So was this poor judgment on Moore's part then for not doing his homework on kunt and kunt2?
