It is a bit about splashing sometimes.
Ronaldo looked expensive at 12mil but look at him now. Rooney, Tevez, Anderson. They are all expenisive but they are top class players. We have a few too but we need more.
12M is nothing. It's about how we have spent money and what we do with players after we have them. Ronaldo was a poser originally, but gelled with the team, and I'm sure Fergie had a role in that.
and how long did fergie take to build his (superb footballing team ))???
years -- yet your all for RAFA going now LMAO
How long did it take Arsene Wenger to put together the present Arsenal team and they are light years ahead of us in the Prem.
NEWCASLTLE
oh yes but u forgot one player there a little fella called OWEN that they OUTBID us for
We dodged a bullet there. You should be thanking Newcastle.
Rooney 30 million, Ronaldo 17 million in todays money 30 million, Tevez 20 million, Carrick 18 million, Ferdinand 30 million Nanny & Anderson 20 million, Hargrieves 16 million.
No your right its not about splashing the cash
I AM right. It's not about splashing cash.
We spent 14M on Cisse, the player you named yourself after, and he was shyt.
It's one thing to buy an expensive player, but another to use the properly and shape them into a successful team. Fergie has been building Premiership winning teams since the days Souness was fooking everything up at LFC
