Bloody hell I can't believe that for once I'm the most upbeat person on this forum. This takeover will happen, why would Gillet and Hicks not accept it? It would mean a nice swift profit for them, even if they get this loan deal sorted it will be at huge interest rates so in terms of pure business this buy out is perfect for them, talk about lucky :censored:

I said right from the start we need someone with cash like Abramovich, its the only we will build quality within depth - not just the odd good player surrounded by mediorce players.

This will be a lot harder but they said they wont be put of by the credit crunch. Seriously wouldnt it be good if the fans relayed a message like a come get me plea to DIC?

DIC bid - BBC sources are saying that the £500m bid is 'fact' - Lawro also said that looks like Rafa played a shrewd game in his expose of the underhandedness of these cowboys e.g. mortgaging the club to the hilt.

We have no idea how close a deal can be. Wasnt there some period of due diligance or something involved. These things dont happen over night but as I said we have no idea how far along it really is. I guess if BBC are reporting it so much there must be some truth in it. Also smart tactics by Rafa exposing it, hes a clever man indeed. We have a chance to save the club from what will surley be a disaster if these yanks carry on. Lets not blow this chance.

I hope Rick Parry or anyone doesnt :censored:
