not since the sumemr to bef air but i know what he said then, and that was that he wanted someone like crouch a LOT

I'm not the biggest fan of Crouch in the world, but looking at this season's stats compared to Kuyts, it's a farce that the man hasn't gotten more games than he has. Kuyt, after yesterday, has only scored two goals the Premiership, and those were from the spot. I dare say Crouch would probably have even gotten two or more by now already had he been starting more. The fact that Crouch has been all but replaced by a Bosman signing says it all, and is virtually a spit in the eye from Rafa Benitez to the man.
I'd say Crouch will want to leave regardless. I know I would. I'd all be in favor of replacing him with a more direct and clinical finisher than Kuyt or Voronin, or at least a secondary creative striker.
