As for injuries, even the healthiest players have bad patches with injuries and some of them last for years, but for that money, and bearing in mind what I saw of him both in liverpool and in Spain, I'd sign him up too. One of the best strikers I've seen in a pitch live in the last decade.

He's at Newcastle, the centre of footballing injuries. We have to hope they didn't do any permanent damage
Last season he played for us he scored 16 league goals in 29 appearances. Even if you don't allow for rests etc then he missed only 9 games (1/4 of a season roughly)
