So will it be Crouch and Garcia upfront? They seem to have a good understanding between them.

No more funny stuff Rafa!

I don't care how the Redmen play, a win and only a win will do against Rovers.

Keep it simple:

                                   La Reina

The Finnstar       Cazza          Hip Hip Horray!       All Rise

Pendent     Captain Fantastic    F1 World Champ

                                                                    Speedy

                     Little Louie         TIMMY!

Result: Liverpool 2 - Blackburn 0

Captain Fanstastic 1
Speedy 1
"LIVERPOOL: 6 European Cups, 20 Domestic Titles, 3 UEFA Cups, 8 FA Cups, 10 League Cups and 4 European Super Cups and 1 Club World Championship

All other English clubs pale into insignificance!"

I would go for one of two formations depending on who plays up front:

Formation 1:

                         Reina

Finnan            JC        Hyppia            Risse

Pennant       Gerrard     Alonso        Garcia

                  Crouch     Bellamy

Formation 2:

                          Reina

Finnan           JC       Hyppia          Aurellio

Garcia        Gerrard      Alonso         Risse

                   Bellamy     Fowler

I have left out momo assuming he is not 100% fit, same as Kuyt.  Agger Unavailable.

Have a sneeky feeling zenden may be involved somewhere though.

Really hope Bellamy gets off the mark on saturday.

i e-mailed the FA last night to complain about the kick off time.

3 o'clock on a saturday? since when do we ever kick off at that time? it's a bloody disgrace.

Rafa never picks my team so Im havin a go at guessing the team he will pick

                               Reina

Finnan      Carragher        Hyypia       Aurelio

Pennant       Alonso         Gerrard         Gonzales

                    Garcia      Kuyt

Read this in the Mirror this morning

DIRK KUYT could make a shock return for Liverpool against Blackburn tomorrow following his rapid recovery from injury.

Reds boss Rafael Benitez feared the Dutch striker would be out for at least two games when he damaged ankle ligaments on international duty.

But Liverpool's physios have been giving him intensive treatment this week and Benitez claims he could play against Rovers at Anfield.

"Dirk's injury isn't that bad," he said. "But we can't say when he will be able to play. We will wait and see how he is before deciding."

i must admit, it does seem like an ideal opportunity to play garcia is his preferred position as a second striker, assuming that kuyt is not 100% and bellamy has been struggling for form.

i don't like garcia playing wide. you can get away with it against poor teams but against any half decent team he leaves the full back behind him completely exposed. look at the second half against galatasaray as an example.

i dont like luis starting up front, he's too wastful, as he is in midfield, which i swhy i would love to see robbie start up top with crouch to start with and bellars coming on. its gotta be 4-4-2 for me.

2-0, comfortable.

Kuytr has been a breath of fresh air since joining the club and learning he wont be risked for this game dissapoints me because i want him to play as much as possible as i think we have found a 20+ goalscorer now.

My team would be :-

Reina

Finnan
Carragher
Agger
Aurelio

Pennant
Gerrard
Sissoko
Gonzales

Crouch
Bellamy        2-0 reds Gerrard and Bellamy

Not really sure what you mean, if you think that he is wasteful then wont  he be just as wasteful in both positions?

IMHO I prefer having Garcia as second striker becasue it means that he can try his tricks and not lose the ball in dangerous positions.  When playing a midfield role you sometimes worry that if he loses possession we are too vulnerable on the counter attack.

I think this game might be make or break. ManUre and Cheatski have got tough away games so we need to win this to put some pressure on. i fancy Bellamy to bag one against his old club and id like to see Luis start up front, he's deserved it i think. Clean sheet would be nice too.

2-0 (Riise, Bellamy)

Anyone gotta decent stream for this game??
