P'iss off , in my book the "Green Monkeys" are the worst set of "fans" we've ever had on this site . Now that we've put you and your team in your place (the dustbin') don't come in here and expect us to tell you how good your team really is .

You're shi'te and I'm more than happy to see you flushed down history's toilet.

Liverpoolfc.tv's got Xabi Alonso down as man of the match.  Those that saw the game can no doubt comment on that distinction better than I but I'll take that as a very encouraging sign that our key playmaker is returning to full sharpness--especially with Momo going off injured.

I'd say Xabi deserved it. Nobody else stood out that much. He was getting forward more and had a few long range efforts go just wide.

oh, what a match.
I proud of my team to stand like that against team like urs. also by the people reaction here, I see we did a hard time to u, and its also something to be proud consider the level difference.
this was the maximum we can get from this match, and I guess another year we'll have a short international challenge (sad ha?), I hope in UEFA will be better.

good luck to u in the CL and goodbye.

[color=#FF0000]I hope that UEFA will look at the map and realise that you're not actually in Europe.

Lets face it , Lebanon and Syria are  closer to Europe , maybe we should campaign to let them in and you lot can f'uck off to the African nations competition, they are after all a lot nearer to you than Europe.

Rafael Benitez spoke of his delight after Liverpool confirmed their place Friday's Champions League group phase draw but admitted his satisfaction was tempered by two new injury setbacks.
Peter Crouch's goal in the 1-1 draw against Maccabi Haifa in Kiev was enough to secure an aggregate 3-2 success but it wasn’t all good news for the Reds as both Stephen Warnock and Momo Sissoko were forced off with ankle and knee problems respectively.

"It was a difficult game but it's good to have qualified. I am really happy," said Benitez. "It's not been easy to start pre-season without some players and our results in pre-season were not the best so it's always a relief to come through a tie like this. I am sure that once the international break is out of the way you will see the team improve.

"In the first half we had a lot of clear chances but their goalkeeper was fantastic. In my opinion, he was man of the match. We had some problems towards the end defensively but that is normal when a team is chasing the game. In these situations we need to score again to kill the game.

"But it was very disappointing to lose another two players through injury. Stephen's is hopefully not too serious but Momo could be out for two or three weeks. We will have to see."

-------

A shame momo could be out for that long. It means him, like carra is a doubt for the derby. He has improved hugely since last season. I hope this injury doesn't set him back a bit. Meanwhile, alonso looked good tonight so hopefully if momo is out for as long as expected, him and stevie can go back in the middle.

Exactlt Woof, they used every dirty trick in the game at Anfield I was there, all they done was dive, and cheated, and it was no different tonight.
I am appauled over their antics since we where drawn against them.
Liverpool high profile club, so lets get our political views over in press conference's.
We dont give 2 sh,its about your agenda's we just wanted to be in the Champions League thats all.
