WELL NOW HE'S PROVED THAT WAS UTTER DRIBBLE AND A SLAP IN THE FACE TO ROVERS FANS.  READ THE COMPLETE ARTICLE HERE (HE EVEN DENIES THE CLAUSE) AND YOU'LL SEE HOW MUCH HE LIES.

Well who could turn liverpool down? Especially since he is a liverpool fan. I know i would say bye bye to rovers in an instant if liverpool came in for me

Don't flame me guys, I'm giving you advice....

I don't blame Bellamy for either (a) going to a "bigger" club or (b) playing for his boyhood idols; I just want to know why he made that statement if he knew Liverpool was even a remote possibility.  He could have said nothing or a million abiguous things but he chose to say the he would NOT use us as a stepping stone and leave after a season.

I just hope, some of the fans on here can understand my anger after reading Bellamy's comments.  Imagine if you're best player for a decade said he wouldn't leave Liverpool and then did the exact opposite.  You would be very angry and the Liverpool fans would not accept it.

It's just a shame that us fringe teams "don't matter" when it comes to the news so this contradiction may never be highlighted again.

It's not sour grapes, he could do it to you too.....

well how do you think we felt when another certain small welsh striker came out with statements saying he wanted to sign a new deal to stay at liverpool and then stabbed us in the back?

it happens in football. there's no loyalty in the game anymore. you and everyone else should know that.

I feel your anger mate weve been here three times twice with Gerrard nearly going to Chelsea, and Michael Owen still telling us he was staying and signing a new contract only for him to leave two days later. Oh and for the record Im not entirly over the moon we have signed him but I have to trust Rafabut a lot of us are split on the decision only time will tell I suppose if it all works out for the best.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Being welsh and i Liverpool supporter this is fanastic news!!  Bellamy playing for his boyhood club at the highest level in football is just what this lad needs. Drummerphil has got it spot on again, Its whats he's wanted for a long time he has had an attitude problem but i believe thats all in the past now. He is now where he has allways wanted to be he is 27 and believe me he will not blow this massive oppurtunity that has arrived at his feet. He will thrive with the quality this club has, the chances that will be created for him will be enormous, I believe Craig Bellamy when he says the hard work starts now its an oppurtunity that comes around once in a life time. He will not blow this chance!! He can take this club to the next level, he will be an assett and Rafa has pulled what could be the bargain of the summer out of the bag. Get behind the lad and watch him deliver. Bellamy's time has arrived. Believe me he won't blow it!!!!!!!!     :buttrock

I'm delighted with the news.Alot of people have thier doubts over his attitude but it has improved alot since joining Celtic and Blackburn and i think for the price we payed its an excellent signing.
