Although Im glad we won, I wouldnt be too bothered if we lost.

I hate the Uefa cup. The whole set up is a farce and this competition has the worst refs in the world. It interrupts our domestic fixtures and all these fixtures ever do is produce nothing but negativity unless we win the bloody thing, which has too many games, too many frustrating matches followed by too many frustrating refereeing decisions.

But glad we won, can you imagine the uproar if we lost? old members returning with their negative tripe to get us off to flier of a season, glad we won.

it would have been embaressing losing to a mid table scottish side, you`d never hear the last of it.
with the side we had out tonight and being at home we should have battered them at least 3-0, they are about championship/league 1 standard.
it was a bad performance but at least we got through.

I somewhat agree with you Karhaz.  It's really frustrating, even when you do well like when we were knocked out in extra time of the semi final vs Atletico a few years ago.  And the refs really are the worst... I remember the game we had in Portugal against Benfica where Torres had two goals disallowed for being offside that weren't, and Babel was sent off for touching David Luiz's face after Luiz, already on a yellow, threw a punch at Torres and wasn't sent off.  That was about as fixed a game as I've ever seen (missed the 02 world cup)...  The refs really are the worst in Europa league, it's pretty embarrassing to be honest.

But at the same time I always like seeing us in with a chance to win a trophy.
