Very lucky we be 2-1 ahead Leicester have played well, deserved the lead to be fair. We are soo weak in the middle, Leicester are slicing through with ease and I would'nt be surprised if they get a goal in the second half.

Our Midfield is unbelievably slow, we're getting overrun bigtime. All 3 are brilliant on the ball at keeping possession but they just haven't got the legs for the pressing game.

Hendo has been very sloppy, I don’t think I ever saw him play so bad. Lost count of the poor passes and doesn’t seem to be able to stay with the runners. Elliott also is not staying with his runner in midfield, you could say the first goal was initially his fault. Only midfielder playing well is Thiago so need to change either Hendo or Elliott, we’re really missing Fabinho. I just hope we don’t get caught on the break. Nunez looking lively.

Elliot has been pretty anonymous, he is going to struggle to get a start when Cory is available playing like this.

TAA played well in defence tonight, kept Barnes quiet

Should have put that to bed in the second half but it’s a win and that’s all that counts

Delighted with the points but the performance was poor. Midfield just so easy to play through. Lads were shyte up front as well and couldn't see them scoring in 120mins. Without the OG's we lose that.

TAA mentioned the pressing game... there was no pressing game the way they used to play, Bobby and Mane in their prime were superb pressers, now it's a group of middle age men and the electricity isn't there any more.

Given our position in the table and how desperate we are for points that was one of those games where the result was more important than the performance. Saying that there’s absolutely no chance in hell that we’ll finish in the top 4 of our defence and midfield continue to be as open as that, you could literally drive a bus through us tonight.

The morning after. Thinking about last night I thought out midfield (apart from Thiago) was awful which partially, but not fully, explains why at times Leicester could drive a bus right through the heart of our defence. I thought Hendo in particular was really poor, in fact I thought he had a mare, his passing was well off, I genuinely think he found more Blue shirts than Red.
Konate needs to be an ever present for me from now on, he’s big, quick, athletic and he’s the future, not nice to say it but a few of our stalwarts seem to be coming to the end, they are pale shadows of the players they once were.  What might make any proposed changing of the guard tricky for Jurgen is a lot of those stalwarts are not just big names but are big characters too. Not sure how they’ll react to being dropped.
