Kelly looked pretty good and is a way better choice over Flano and Johnson.  The crosses stopped when he came in.

100% disagree.  I thought he did really well.  His passing is really good, he has good vision and he can really tackle.

Sure he makes a few mistakes, but every player did.  I think Adam was one of our best players today and probably our best CM, although maybe Lucas earned that.

I disagree Ethan, I thought Adam was poor today, needs to calm down and concentrate more

Downing, Carroll, Agger, Kelly, Lucas and Spearing looked good today

He looked average at best. Then again so did a few players.

Very impressed with Downing though, looked good in the final third, can deliver an excellent cross and not afraid to cut inside sometimes or beat his man

I dunno I thought Adam was our best CM defensively throughout.  He had some really great passes... Rarely gave the ball away.  Look at him compared to Aqua or Hendo, he was miles better.  Spearing had a better game but went missing for a good chunk.

I'm actually quite excited to see Adam play against Sunderland.

You really did watch a totally different game - I understand you have bigged him up and really rate him but tonight as per all the other games in pre season - he has been what i expected - nothing much at all . Very immobile , tries too many hollywood passes and not many come off . Tonight he gave away the ball lots , he tried numerous times some little trick to take around a player and not once did it work .

Once all CM's are fit he shouldnt be near the starting line up .

Im sorry mate but the Adam you are saying wasnt there tonight .

agree...  Havent seen any good passes if im honest.. If anything, we looked clueless in possession and couldnt put together 3 passes through the middle.. When he went further up he looked a little more like a player but then again what he needed to do(control the tempo and get a possession game going) he failed to do imo...

I'd much rather see a midfield partnership of Lucas-Meireles than have Adam anywhere near the side....

2:0 Carroll scoring and a clean sheet

Progress and at least something to get enthusiastic about for a change
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Downing, lucas, agger, carroll had good games. Downing is going to be a brilliant signing, been sayin it all along. Fabio was really good too. Our right side is too narrow in the build up without Glen though. If we want to be at our very best we need him fit.  I actually thought Adam had one of his better games, still not a sure bet for the starting XI CM wise though, only Lucas has earned that imo.

2-0 much better, goals were very scrappy but it will do. With Suarez & Gerrard in this team we will be a force again.
