big improvement after kuyt and the boys come on. i think we should start next week with kuyt and lucas, rather than henderson and adam.

You know what the best signing RH made was resigning Aurelio.  He really is a great LB, and if he could get past his injury problems he'd be one of the best in the league, probably only behind Evra and Cole.

The statement of the season ,Aurellio one of the Best LB in the league...Come on ,other then his set shots he just isn't built for the EPL. Not strong nor quick enough. Koncheski is worse i'll give you that.

You are clueless !

Haha is that directed at me or him?

When did N'Gog grow a freaken pair?  Holy hell it's like he's been bulking up on roids and confidence pills... Lovely to see him not instantly pushed off the ball like he always has been.  Looking like this we should hold onto him at least for another season.. Even if he's not good enough he'll definitely be worth more.

Don't worry pointed at me. :)

I also think N'gog should stay. Thought he deserved more time to develop

Lucas has been fantastic offensively and defensively.  Our CM pairing if we play a 4-4-2 has to be Lucas and Adam.  Aqua was nowhere near as good today, I'm not sure his heart's in it.  Spearing wasn't bad at all tho in the first.

But Lucas is looking amazing.. Great to have him back.

I don't think we are ready for the start of the season. Can we postpone it till January 2012?  :help

Joe Cole trying to be too flashy.  Our defense is still worrying me, but if we can play like this at home against Valencia then in theory we shouldn't really struggle against Sunderland.

Soto's usual defensive brilliance there. I can't believe he's still gets to wear a red shirt

Scrappy goal but I'll take it.  I think that's Soto's goal, but if it is then I think he was probably off.

Well I'll take the win against a decent Valencia side.  Thrilled we didn't concede at all.

Much improved today. Absolutely solid at the back. Pepe not had a save to make. Says it all. Roll on Sunderland. Everyone's gonna be chomping at the bit.

Good win, but I'm a bit worried about Adam. He seems like an ordinary footballer to me.

100% disagree.  I thought he did really well.  His passing is really good, he has good vision and he can really tackle.

Sure he makes a few mistakes, but every player did.  I think Adam was one of our best players today and probably our best CM, although maybe Lucas earned that.
