Let us all rejoice, now Kuyt can get an even more prominent role in the team... if that now was possible....

I mean he steals a goal every 10 th game nowadays.. eh I mean he scores a penalty someone else creates every 10th game...

Delighted at this news. He was never going to command £9m or whatever it was we turned down last season, given his recent "form" (he didn't fecking have any form :D ) and with his contract running down, so £5m will do nicely. Now for the rest of them.

Babel's agent (Winnie Haatrecht) says Hoffenheim is "just one option" and isn't ruling out a move to Ajax yet. http://goo.gl/LPdi6 (Dutch)

another twist in the tale?

For me the number priority this window is to sell Babel and bring in a quality striker. He has contributed absolutely nothing for the past 2 years and his value has been decreasing month by month.

I'm sure he will gone and we will have a new striker before the end of the week.

Good times.

Another underachiever whose talent got melted in the lights at Anfield leaves LFC for a fraction of what we paid for him.

Honestly here, who can recollect anything he has contributed apart from the winner in the KOP end against the mancs a couple of seasons ago ..........

Huge promise but very little of that promise materialized.

As always  we wish the lad well and hopes he fulfils his potential. Pity he couldn't fulfill it with LFC

The goal against Lyon last year was fuckin awesome. Real shame this guy didn't 'av the minerals' to match his potential. Good luck in the future fella.

wish the lad all the best at whatever club he ends up at.
really disapointed he never shone for us and would be even more if he suddenly starts hammering goals in and plays out of his skin for another club.
still it was time to move him on,just a shame that we got far less than what we paid for him.would have preferred if he was used as a part of the suarez deal:( .

Yeah it's a shame he didn't work out here cause to be honest deep down there's a good player in there, he just never had confidence here at Liverpool and I think a fresh start will do him a lot of good.

Powerful shot, awful first touch...don't really know what to make of the guy but it seems like he's more interested in his music career than getting his head down. Sorry lad, you weren't good enough. Have a good career, your goal against the Mancs was the best bobble i've seen.

I actually don't think we'll sign anybody this month. Downing and Suarez seem to be out of the picture now and there's like what... 12 days left? Need a left-back and striker ASAP though, here's hoping.

Had been given a lot of time at the end of 06 07 season and looked very promising.  We picked up a lot of points during that time.
