Hopefully it's pounds but I doubt it.. good luck to him things never worked out here but he seems a like a good guy. If he goes and Suarez comes in maybe that opens the door that much more to Pacheco getting more time on the pitch. Pacheco has talent but I'm beginning to wonder if he can perform at the highest level.

Damn I was hoping that we'll get more from him, at least 9 or 10 million euros. But selling him was kind of logical to me, as someone said we can now play Pacheco on the wings instead of him and we'll need to buy a striker but that striker will and should cost double the money we sold Babel for.

£5.5 million is £2-3 mil too low IMO. Not depressed to see him leave although he certainly wouldn't have been the first guy I'd have gotten rid of.

yep. time to go alright. Given his age, £8-9m wouldn't have been unreasonable but let's be honest, he had chances and never really gave us anything like what we need. Can't wait to see who's coming in over next couple of weeks. Really hope for some quality. Please. Please. Please.

Not a bad price considering he only has 18mths left on his contract (if i remember correctly) and tbf he's done nowt for us.

If this means that there's more money to put towards the Suraez deal then bring it on
