Dude, you, me and any other fans out there aren't really qualified to say that. the world of football is very different if you actually live and work within it. I suspect the lure of Liverpool Football Club is still very strong amongst potential managers and players out there. especially now that we seem to have some stability off the pitch at last.

Form is temporary, class is permanent writ large.  :nod

There is a few things stopping us getting the top players mate - Money and CL football - two of the biggest pulls to get the top players - two things we currently dont have .

Marcell Jansen for left back, Ivica Olic centre forward (runs his tripe out but prob wont leave Munich), still think Podolski could do a job but not on the radar of anyone this lad  :oh:

Any player who comes in will know joining us means no CL football for at least 18 months.
Unless you are going to throw Man City type money at it, we'd be hard pressed to attract some of the names mentioned on here.

Would love Podolski here, any of the German team tbh. Although they a lot of them tend to stay close to home. Muller would be great but Bayern wouldn't let him go.

I heard Mirko Vucinic has said he won't be playing at Roma next season. Not sure if someone already has him lined up but he looks useful.

I really want us to sign someone powerful in the Drogba/Adebayor mould.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

Good point, it will be very difficult to attract established quality players, but we've never really gone for those anyway.

i told you all what to do send nando to man city in exchange for adam johnson plus cash. Then with the cash get fabiano suarez or benzema. Remember citeh have silva and hes doing well and adam loves liverpool but unfortunately rafa didnt think he was worth 8 million.

If we have the opportunity to sign real quality, undoubted quality, like a Van Der Vaart (who we've known about for years), then we must do everything to get them because they don't come around too often and it takes time to amass that type of quality in depth (see Spurs). In the summer we arguably overlooked him because we were looking for a striker who wasn't there. When such a situation arises in future we mustn't risk losing a top quality player like him simply because we have a higher priority position to fill.

.
Fabio Coentrao looked good at the world cup,

He was being linked with Chelski as a replacement for ca$hley, and the mancs as a replacement for evra,

Do you think left back would be a position which we will strengthen?

It would be intresting to see a Liverpool team with two attacking full backs.
