Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

$1.6B would be about £1.0B i would guess. Where he gets that figure from is anyones guess. This man is having a breakdown. Presumably he thinks he can get some authority in the US to stop a US company (NESV) from buying LFC. I believe Hicks is really annoyed that another baseball team owner is getting one over on him and he is trying to through a spanner in there workings but to be honest its a bit baffling.

I know it's got nothing to do with us but had to share this.

I hope they get those Chilean miners out in time for work tomorrow.

Texas thing is nonsense. Its appears to be directed against NESV. Last desperate throw of the dice by a beaten man.

Henry is in London, the horse has bolted Tom.

er, the high court in the UK has more power than the cowboy court, the rule has been set down, LFC stands in the uk and comes under uk banking law as its money his held in uk accounts.

Theyve sent a big long letter to SSN the owners tried to get the money for a re-finance, its a conspiracy, the board done this on purpose that the owners couldnt get any profit from the sale.
Hicks had a bid for 400 million pound FSV on the 5th of October. the letters to long for SSN to read twit & Tw@t are very angry.

This is amazing sh!t Judge Floyd is going to be p!ssed off with them tonight.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

These guys are beyond mad, they are demented beyond reason. Surely someone must send them to an asylum?

Do they not realise they are simply not wanted and have nothing but total and utter anger and hatred to gain from doing this?

Absolutely un- :censored:-believable...

Suggestion that the impact of the Texas suit would be to put RBS/NESV/Broughton et al in contempt of a US Court if sale goes through #lfc

I can't see how a Texan court can ride over an english court but if there was another bid some time ago to the tune of £400 billion one has to ask the question did Broughton consider it?

What I don't get is why an English court threw their "evidence" out whilst an American court has granted an injunction.......  :glare:

If it was presented to the board, ofcourse he would have considered it. There would be official minutes recorded against this.

It's not like MB can hide any of this ... provided it was indeed presented to the board and not to Hicks riding on his pony on some lawn in yeeeehaaaaa country ...
