He went public very early - was it just a publicity stunt?

Why pull out so early if you're heart's really set on buying the club? Was he just another Hicks or Gillette looking to secure a quick deal to take advantage of the pressure we're under to sell and try and make money out of us in the long run?

Does he not have the cash he says he has and pulled out because he knows there are bigger hitters in for us?

I don't know the answer, but for him to walk away now suggests to me he wasn't the answer to our prayers.

A chancer and a conman at best in my opinion.
I reckon its just a case of him being exposed as a bag of wind when push came to shove.

I'm more interested in the other bidders who have maintained a dignified silence and I feel confident that the board will make the right choice.

It is so obvious the vermin still have a final say in this sale otherwise I am confident we would had been already sold.
And once we will be sold is only for the sole reason that the vermin finally lost control. But not until then cause there is no way they will let the club go for market value.

We have got to the stage now where i believe there are the bids on the table, the club needs and they have sifted through the deadwood..IMO. I cannot see us going into administration etc etc. Just lets sit tight and it will come good.

Can someone please clarify the significance of October 6th?

Have RBS set a deadline of October 6th for the loan to be back? And if the loan is not paid back or significantly reduced by then, RBS take control of the club and we get a points deduction?

The yanks will be charged £60 million extra by the banks if the club isnt sold by then.
