Thats a good read isnt it? ........... but its a game of 2 halves.
Kenyon knows a good deal when he sees one and though he's mercenary, he must believe Huang would succeed to become associated with the deal. He has big club experience, knows the requirements to restructure a club and has the financiers' ears. I'm sure he sees himself as LFC's next CEO. I dont see Kenyon bottling out, I think he/Kenny have punched Broughton on the nose to face the possible reality that there are no other credible offers out there and that good deals dont hang around. I suspect Broughton and Kenyon are still in touch.
The article shows GG for the little shíte that he is. A desparate man, fighting for his life. Feck him.
I dont know if the Huang deal is any good, but it was revealed to be an 800 million investment, I guess over the 5 year business plan the bidders are supposed to present. If there are penalty clauses for non-performance then it sounds a reasonable start. Kenyon fronting it adds credibility (a Manc/Chav CEO.... whatever next...??).
Hopefully theres someone even better out there, however at the end of the day I back Broughton 100% as the objective is NOT to kick T&T in the balls, its to get the BEST deal for LFC and us, the fans. If that means kicking T&T in the balls at the same time, then so be it.
