NEXT!

Y´know these fan share people have had so much time to get their act together... and when you consider how few real contenders there are, it makes you wonder whether they're actually serious or just hot air doesnt it?  They've not be mentioned 'at all'.

I wonder if Huang dropped out - if he did - because someone has topped him and he cant respond? Or he's simply not preferred choice any more? Doubt we'll ever find out.

Cancelled board meetings one week, statements the two contenders failed to impress a few days later, then Kenny pulls out in time to catch the sunday newspapers.... seems theatrical to me.

Edit: Just seen SSN "Huang Ends LFC Interest"
The damage that does to T&T´s position with bankers and business partners globally is laughable. They'll be begging soon.

The questions started to be asked about proof of funds and it wasn't going quick enough in time for the end of August. The club are right to ask questions of any potential buyer particularly in view of what happened with H&G. Why did Huang think it was all going to go through so quickly? Even if he purchases the club tomorrow does he really think that with just two weeks till August 31 that Hodgson armed with Man City type cash will be able to get exactly who he wants without upsetting the current squad he has? At most all we need right now is another striker and another left back or winger to strengthen things.

I'm not really sure what Huang's problem is but if he's going to spit his dummy out at this stage he clearly wasn't the right man to buy the club anyway. It seems to me from the statement that his bid had far more to do with selling Liverpool to Asia than anything else.

Just listening to Tony Evans on SSN I feel like shooting myself. According to him we are doomed and Hicks and Gillette don't want to sell. We are on the brink!
I feel sick to the pit of my stomach !!
I hope David Moores and Rick Parry finally realise what they have done.
As for the two Yanks , I couldn't be responsible for my actions if I ever came across them !

lets hope your next post shows at least a glimmer of intelligence.

Well , with fans like you, no wonder we are in this mess.
This club means a lot to me and to thousands of others so forgive us if we are emotional !
I will try to post intelligent posts in future as long as you promise to do likewise with your replies.
Do one , you're not worth the effort .

I'm suspicious of anyone who pulls out of the running after just a few weeks.

He went public very early - was it just a publicity stunt?

Why pull out so early if you're heart's really set on buying the club? Was he just another Hicks or Gillette looking to secure a quick deal to take advantage of the pressure we're under to sell and try and make money out of us in the long run?

Does he not have the cash he says he has and pulled out because he knows there are bigger hitters in for us?

I don't know the answer, but for him to walk away now suggests to me he wasn't the answer to our prayers.

Well if its a bidding war, then Huang has pulled out (he he) as he cannot match the highest bid so far. I wouldnt get depressed over this news just yet.

Millions, mate, millions!

This club will never go down, if anything Liverpool fans will unite if worse comes to worse.

I expect twiddle-dee and twiddle-d.u.m to be shot like d.o.gs if the club goes into administration, I can't see them surviving longer than a few hours.

Can't Huang come back into the fray when our stock drops on OCT 6?

As the article reg posted up stated, there could be numerous reasons why nobody has come forward to Broughton to offer their plans/investment. Couldn't they wait till the price drops on the club? Secondly when DDay does come along does Broughton still maintain his current position of negotiation with proposed buyers?

I think this date of October the 6th will open other avenues for the club to be sold.
