#lfc fans wanting to know who is backing the Huang bid and the extent of their wealth should make sure they read The Times tomorrow.

Huang is backed by the China Investment Corporation. £330bn worth of assets. #LFC

They're brought 'another serious' bidder into the equation to ram up the price thats all.

But gentle readers, remember what Broughton said.... the highest bidder wont necessarily be the winner, the most suitable bidder will.

So if 'Kenny the Spiv' presents a 5 year plan that IS the way forward and 'Saddam the Syrian' bids 20-30 million more without a credible plan then Broughton will sell to Kenny the Spiv.

As he should do. H&G are pure bullsh'itters, Broughton will see though it as will Barcap etc..

It goes to show that it doesn’t matter how much money you have; too much debt can be the downfall of anyone.

Makes you fu..c..k..in cringe doesn't it. this guy just goes around bulldozing sports institutions. I'm surprised someone hasn't put a bullet in his back to be honest. You can't go around off and upsetting this many people without some consequences.

And what's even more amazing is despite this he still managed to take control of LFC.

Can't see any online articles yet. Sometimes they get published after 10/11 pm...... do they have any new info that we arnt aware of yet? That sort of headline suggests a bid has been accepted and the wheels are in motion.

The debt-laden club is expected to change hands this month and last night the Chinese appeared to be in pole position to win a three-way takeover battle. Anyway there isn't even a mention of the Syrian bloke there. They must have sussed it wasn't a real bid.

But not happy to hear that Rhone group are still buzzing about.

On CIC though, no wonder those guys close to Huang were talking about the likes of Messi the other day. Im trying very hard not to get excited here btw...

Thing I don't really understand is, how can a country buy a club

It sounds a bit like the conservatives buying Grampus Eight or something to me. I'm not saying it's not going to happen or it won't happen, I just can't get my head around the whole concept.

We were told today that the Syrain fella was on the verge of a takeover, only a day after the Chinese bid expected to succeed. Now it's a three-way toss up between the Chinese, the Arabs and a different set of Yanks; and no mention of the Syrain fella.

I guess because it's sovereign wealth it's kind of classed as the country. To be honest im not even 100% what sovereign wealth means. If someone could enlighten me id be most grateful.
